After a hugely successful 2016 season with Beauty and the Beast Beacon Arts Centre are promising another festive treat with many of the cast returning for another year of panto fun.

Cast members of this year's Parr Hall panto will once again be spreading some festive cheer at the Golden Square Christmas lights switch-on.

CBeebies' stars ABE JARMAN (presenter of The Let's Go Club), and JANE DEANE, (Dee Livery in Justin's House), will lead a superb cast in the most magical pantomime of all - ALADDIN.  Croydon is the place to be this Christmas, when this festive treat takes to the stage at Waddon Leisure Centre from Wednesday 7 to Saturday 31 December.  This year's Christmas cracker is one that all the family will long remember.

BAFTA award-winning presenter, actor and voice-over artist, Justin Fletcher, who joined the cast of the Olivier Award-winning production of Mike Kenny's stage adaptation of E. Nesbit's novel The Railway Children - Live on Stage on 31 August, has now confirmed he will be playing an extra two weeks, now finishing on 19 November.

BAFTA award-winning presenter, actor and voice-over artist, Justin Fletcher will transform from the much-loved children's character Mr Tumble into the equally loved Mr Perks for two months only, from 31 August to 30 October 2016. The Olivier Award-winning production of Mike Kenny's stage adaptation of E. Nesbit's novel The Railway Children - Live on Stage must end on 8 January 2017, following more than two glorious years at King's Cross Theatre, where it opened to critical and public acclaim on 14 January 2015, following previews from 16 December 2014.

Families across Coventry and Warwickshire can look forward to a bumper programme of theatrical fun this Half Term at the Belgrade Theatre with the return of the theatre's ever popular May Camp. This will be followed by a visit from the hit touring shows, Pongo's Party and The Giant's Loo Roll.

Coventry's Belgrade Theatre has today announced full details of its Spring 2016 Season which will see EastEnders' original odd couple, Jessie Wallace and Shane Richie appear on stage together for the first time in Peter James' acclaimed comedy-thriller, The Perfect Murder.

The Tale of Mr Tumble will be a funny, engaging and visually exciting show that will give children the chance to see Mr Tumble live and up close as he and his family share some of their fondest memories.

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) has today announced the nominations for its annual British Academy Children's Awards, which honour the very best in children's media. The ceremony will be held on Sunday 24 November at the London Hilton, Park Lane.

The ceremony was hosted by Barney Harwood at the London Hilton on Park Lane, and presenters included Eddie Izzard, Alesha Dixon, Sir David Jason, Tom and Dougie from McFly, Olympic gold medallists Heather Stanning and Alex Gregory, Tyger Drew Honey, Caitlin Moran, X Factor's Kye Sones and Jade Ellis, Jedward and American film director John Landis.
