Megan Hilty, who will soon be seen vying for a starring role in a Marilyn Monroe musical on the upcoming NBC series SMASH, will appear with the Seattle Men's Chorus on November 26th and 27th. She will be the series' opening guest; the concerts are entitled 'Cool Yule: the Big Band Theory' and run from November 26 through December 23.

Production is underway on 'Pixie Hollow Games,' an all-new, animated special to premiere this fall on Disney Channel. Megan Hilty stars as Rosetta. The special features a talented voice cast of Disney Channel stars including Brenda Song ('The Suite Life on Deck'), Jason Dolley ('Good Luck Charlie'), Tiffany Thornton ('So Random!') and Zendaya ('Shake It Up') as the new fairies and sparrow man who join Tinker Bell and her fairy friends to participate in the legendary Pixie Hollow Games.

Broadway vet Loretta Devine will return to to the ABC drama Grey's Anatomy in the role of Adele Webber for five episodes, beginning on February 17, according to EW.com.

Megan Hilty has nabbed the coveted lead role in Steven Spielberg's new NBC pilot Smash, an ambitious drama about the mounting of a Broadway musical alongside Debra Messing. The pilot, produced by DreamWorks TV and UMS, follows a cross section of characters who come together to put on a Marilyn Monroe musical on Broadway. TV writer/playwright Theresa Rebeck wrote the script for Smash and is executive producing with Spielberg, Darryl Frank and Justin Falvey of DreamWorks TV, Hairspray producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron and Grammy and Tony-winning songwriters Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman who will pen original songs for the show. Michael Mayer (American Idiot) is directing. This has been a passion project for new NBC chief Bob Greenblatt who first developed it at Showtime.
