Celebrating 20 years since Heather Headley's Broadway debut in Disney's landmark musical The Lion King, the 10th annual Broadway Dreams Supper, supporting the performing arts education not-for-profit Broadway Dreams, treated guests to cocktails, a formal dinner, and tribute performances from some of the today's most celebrated performers at The Plaza (58th Street and Fifth Avenue). Lead producer Joshua Goodman (Come From Away) has announced that NewYorkRep has joined Louise Beard and Gene Fisch, Jr. on the producing team for HOWARD CRABTREE'S WHEN PIGS FLY.

Producer Joshua Goodman is tickled pink to announce the return of HOWARD CRABTREE'S WHEN PIGS FLY, conceived by Howard Crabtree and Mark Waldrop, book and lyrics by Mark Waldrop, music by Dick Gallagher, directed by Mark Waldrop, choreographed by Tony Award-nominee Denis Jones (Holiday Inn) and costumes by legendary nine-time Emmy Award-winner Bob Mackie ('The Carol Burnett Show').

Broadway Dreams just held its annual Night of Dreams Gala, honoring Tony Award-winning lyricist and composer Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty with the inaugural Arts Advancement Award. Point Park University was the leading education sponsor of the event.

Cirque du Soleil - PARAMOUR is the organization's first production created specifically for Broadway. PARAMOUR just opened last night, May 25 at the Lyric Theatre and BroadwayWorld was on hand for the special night. Check out photos from the star-studded red carpet below!

To pack a nightclub on a snowy Monday night in February is a trick in itself, but to blow the ceiling off of a venerable music room like Birdland is another story. After a sold-out six month run, "For The Record: Tarantino" returns to West Hollywood for five Thursday night performances. In the previous run, the show attracted thousands of attendees, including director Quentin Tarantino, actors and singers like Bruce Willis, Aaron Paul, Barbra Streisand, James Brolin, Demi Moore, Dylan McDermott, Adam Lambert as well as network, studio and industry executives. The show will run every Thursday at 8:00 p.m thru Thursday, November 23 with tickets ranging from $35 - $55, and can be purchased at DBAHollywood.com.

After increasing the number of weekly performances and moving to a larger venue in West Hollywood to accommodate significantly larger crowds, "For The Record: Tarantino" has become the hottest ticket in town, driving the series to add a 10-week extension. The show has attracted thousands of people already, including director Quentin Tarantino, actors and singers like Bruce Willis, Aaron Paul, Barbra Streisand, James Brolin, Demi Moore, Dylan McDermott, Adam Lambert as well as network, studio and industry executives. The popular show will also welcome new performers to the already stellar cast including Twilight's Jackson Rathbone, Broadway's Rhett George (Wicked, Memphis) and Nicci Claspell from the National Tour of American Idiot.

MCC Theater's annual Miscast gala, one of the most exciting and unique theater events in town, was held last night at the Hammerstein Ballroom. At the event, Broadway's hottest stars performed songs from roles in which they would never be cast. This year's event was hosted by award-winning actress Allison Janney. After more than three years in Los Feliz, the live musicimmersive concert experience "For The Record" will move to a larger home in West Hollywood, DBA (www.dbahollywood.com). Beginning March 27, the hit series will make their debut in this new, next level performance space that is hosting the most vital and relevant live music, DJ's, performance art, spoken word and theatrical events. "For The Record: Tarantino" at DBA will offer audiences an elevated and completely reimagined production of the show that inspired the series as a whole. The show will run every Thursday - Sunday at 8:00 p.m with tickets ranging from $35 - $55, and can be purchased at DBAHollywood.com. Tony Award nominee Rory O'Malley (THE BOOK OF MORMON) just debuted the world premiere of his autobiographical show, PUB CRAWL, at Joe's Pub on March 10, 2014. PUB CRAWL is Rory's coming of age story that tells the tale of being raised in an Irish pub on the west side of Cleveland by his single mom and all of the bar's eclectic patrons. Using classic Irish pub songs from The Wolftones, U2, Van Morrison and more, the evening will feature music direction by Tony and Grammy Award winner, Stephen Oremus. According to an Equity casting notice, On the Town might be heading back to Broadway. Casting will soon take place for a developmental lab on December 8-19, with an anticipated Broadway revival in early 2014. The project will feature direction by John Rando, who also helmed a 2008 Encores production, and choreography by Josh Bergasse.
