Oberon Theatre Ensemble - currently celebrating its 17th season - will present the New York premiere of Steven Fechter's play THE WOODSMAN, directed by Alexander Dinelaris, Jr. (who directed Oberon's critically acclaimed production of 'The Drawer Boy' last season) with performances beginning April 18 prior to an official press opening of April 21 at the June Havoc Theatre (312 West 36th Street) in Manhattan.

Abingdon Theatre Company announces that the world premiere of Brian Richard Mori's HELLMAN v. McCARTHY, a new play the feud between literary legends Lillian Hellman and Mary McCarthy, will be recorded by THIRTEEN Productions LLC for WNET on Friday, April 11 at 8pm. The Off-Broadway play starring Dick Cavett, Roberta Maxwell and Marcia Rodd, will be filmed for broadcast on a future date.

Artistic Director Vincent J. Cardinal is pleased to announce Connecticut Repertory Theatre's (CRT) 2014 Nutmeg Summer Series. The three show season celebrates life backstage and behind the curtain. Two award winning musicals; A Chorus Line and Gypsy are matched with Neil Simon's The Sunshine Boys, a comedy starring Jerry Adler (The Good Wife) and Richard Kline (Three's Company). The Nutmeg Summer Series runs June 5 through July 20, 2014 in the Harriet S. Jorgensen Theatre on the University of Connecticut-Storrs campus. Subscriptions to all three productions are now on sale. An all-new THEATER TALK features the cast of Brian Richard Mori's Hellman v. McCarthy, a dramatization of "the greatest literary feud in modern history" between the eminent writers Mary McCarthy and Lillian Hellman. It began when McCarthy, who was appearing on The Dick Cavett Show, January 25, 1980, said of Hellman, "Every word she writes is a lie, including 'and' and 'the.'"
