Fourth Annual THE PUZZLE Festival Announces 2014 Lineup

The 4th Annual The Puzzle, a theatre festival at the historic Marble Collegiate Church in New York City, has announced its 2014 line-up which begins Monday, June 23rd and runs until Saturday, June 28th.

Selections include the plays Call Me by Michele Markarian, Timmy Perlmutter Goes Flying by Paul Lewis, The Wager by William H. Sikorski, Monster by Raymond Fast, A Clean Sweep by Susan Shafer, Stinky Bird by Seth Freeman, Imaginary Conversations with My Daughter by Darren V. Michael, Be Right Back by Scott Haan, A Difference in Taste by John Ladd, A Thief in the Night by John Kane, Poor Hearts by Edward Musto, Garden Variety by R. A. Pauli, and the musical, Guarding Gold Street by Sean Michael Flowers and Marya Spring Cordes.

The Puzzle is produced by Brian Hampton with artistic direction by Marya Spring Cordes.

Brian Hampton (producer) is a published playwright, producer, and actor whose credits include "The Jungle Fun Room" (World Premiere: Actors Playhouse - FringeNYC, Off-Broadway Premiere: New World Stages, Published by: Original Works Publishing), "Gossip" (World Premiere: William Byrd Players, New York Premiere: The Puzzle, Published by: Pioneer Drama), and "Checking In" (World Premiere: Actors Guild of Lexington, New York Premiere: June Havoc Theatre, MITF.)

Marya Spring Cordes (Artistic Director) is a performing artist, director, Alexander Technique teacher, and on faculty in the BFA Acting and Musical Theatre programs in Wright State University's Department of Theatre, Dance, and Motion Pictures. Some directing credits include "Managing Maxine" (Midwest Premiere: The Human Race Theatre Company), "Gossip" (Midwest Premiere: Wright Stage University's MAPP Program), and is collaborating with Sean Michael Flowers in the creation of a new musical, "Guarding Gold Street," (World Premiere commissioned by: Auburn University), which will make its New York Premiere in this year's The Puzzle.
