Nettle Creek Players, a 501c3 not-for-profit arts organization in Hagerstown, Indiana, has announced its 2019 troupe of visiting professional theatre artists who will live in the community for nine weeks as they prepare and present the Nettle Creek Players 2019 Summer Stock Tent Theatre Season featuring productions of JOSEPH & THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT, GERSHWIN & FRIENDS: A BROADWAY SONGBOOK CABARET, and RUMPELSTILTSKIN, OR THE FAIRIE'S SECRET NAME. Performances of JOESPH will be at 7:30pm on July 5, 6, 12, 13, 19, 20, 25, 26 & 27 & 5:00pm on July 7 with GERSHWIN & FRIENDS at 5:00pm on July 14, 21 & 28 and RUMPELSTILTSIKIN at 11:00am on July 20 & 27. All performances will take place in the Nettle Creek Players Show Tent at 150 N. Plum Street in historic downtown Hagerstown, Indiana. Tickets for JOSEPH and GERSHWIN & FRIENDS are $15 per person with discounts available for students, children and groups of 10 or more. Tickets for RUMPELSTILTSKIN are $5 per person. Main Street Artists, an Indiana-based touring arts organization, for the third consecutive year will present the musical comedy "Christmas Through The Ages" at IndyFringe on Thursday, December 20 at 7:30pm, Friday, December 21 at 7:30pm, Saturday, December 22 at 7:30pm and Sunday, December 23 at 4:00pm.  Performance will take place at the Basile Theatre at IndyFringe, 719 E. St. Claire in downtown Indianapolis.

When the Theatre on the Square closed its doors earlier this year, the perennial fall favorite Cabaret Poe needed to find a new home. The show settled into the fourth floor of Circle Centre Mall. It's an unexpected choice, but they make it work. All the best elements are still there, macabre humor, a trio of cynical performers who share the lead, and a delightful selection of Edgar Allan Poe's work. The result is a production that will apparently work in any performance space.

Nettle Creek Players, a 501c3 not-for-profit arts organization, on Monday, June 19 will welcome to Hagerstown a troupe of visiting professional theatre artists who will live in the community for five weeks as they prepare and present the Nettle Creek Players 2017 Summer Stock Tent Theatre Season featuring productions of THE FANTASTICKS, THUMBELINA, BROADWAY ON MAIN STREET, and the NCP Young Actors Musical Theatre Workshop.  Performances of THE FANTASTICKS will be at 7:30pm on July 7, 8, 9, 13, 14, 15, 20, 21 & 22 with BROADWAY ON MAIN STREET at 2:00pm on July 9, 16 & 23 and THUMBELINA at 11:00am and 1:00pm on July 15 & 22, 2017.  The Workshop will be offered from July 11-23, 10:00am-3:00pm. 

?The beautiful music of immortal songsmiths, George and Ira Gershwin will remind audiences of simpler times at The Round Barn Theatre stage with the Tin-Pan Alley inspired Musical Crazy for You. This riotously entertaining production is sure to have audiences singing along to over two dozen Gershwin Brothers classics, such as "Embraceable You", "I Got Rhythm", and "Let's Call the Whole Thing Off" and enchanting theatre-goers with a classic blend of music, laughter, dancing, and sentiment. 

?Elvis Presley's hits roar to life on The Round Barn Theatre Stage in the American Jukebox Musical All Shook Up. It is sure to have audiences dancin' in the aisles and jumpin' out of their blue suede shoes.
