Transcendence Theatre Company's popular Broadway Under the Stars show series will present "Fantastical Family Night" for two nights only July 14 and 15 in the 150-year old open-air Winery Ruins at Jack London State Historic Park in Glen Ellen. Music Theatre Kansas City presents the Disney classic, The Little Mermaid, in conjunction with the Youth Symphony of Kansas City. Performances will be on Friday, March 17th at 7 pm and Saturday, March 18th at 2 pm and 7 pm at Avila University's Goppert Theatre (11901 Wornall Road Kansas City, MO 64145). Advanced tickets are $18 for adults, $12 for students, and $6 for children ages 10 and under. Tickets at the door will be $20 for adults, $15 for students, and $8 for children ages 10 and under.

That comment was made by an audience member after Daniel Beeman and the cast of Musical Monday performed "Bohemian Rhapsody" at the close of Act I for Musical Monday and Tuesday. Tim Scott produced and directs the tribute to Stephen Sondheim and the songs of the '70's for Musical Theater Heritage.
Musical Monday closes with the cast singing "One Day More," which is the amount of time left to catch one of the most phenomenal shows to appear at Musical Theater Heritage at Crown Center. Musical Monday and Tuesday opened on April 20 with Jerry Jay Cranford singing Les Miz from Forbidden Broadway. The theme of the two-day musical event is Les Miserables and Others. Others included tunes from Chorus Line and Little Shop of Horrors.
The first offering for 2015 of Musical Monday and Tuesday opened Monday night February 16 at the Musical Theater Heritage in Crown Center. Musical Monday has always been an audience favorite and for 2015, Musical Theater Heritage added Tuesdays to the performance schedule. Hosted by Tim Scott the production featured songs from the Broadway musical Big River, bluegrass, and country. The production was like a big river out of its banks flooding the theater with fantastic vocals by some of the best vocalist in Kansas City.
A Night on the Town quickly turned into a fabulous night on the town as Kansas City crooner Molly Hammer took the stage. Tim Scott directed the new series from Musical Theatre Heritage, which is sold-out through the end of the production. A Night on the Town named to honor the "A Night on the Town" nationally syndicated radio series, with Executive Director George Harter that he founded in 1998 premiered Thursday night, February 12 at the Musical Theatre Heritage Theatre in Crown Center.
Bring It On: Cut It Out, a benefit concert featuring songs cut from the hit musical Bring It On will be hosted by Music Theatre Kansas City (MTKC) on Monday, December 15. Proceeds from the event will benefit MTKC's scholarship fund.
You have not heard the gospel, until you have heard it as told by Egads! Theatre Company's current production of Godspell. Godspell, from the book by John Michael Tebelak and music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, opened Saturday night March 1 at the Off Center Theatre.
