Ghostlight Records announces that the Original Broadway Cast Recording of RODGERS + HAMMERSTEIN'S Cinderella CD hits stores today, June 4.

Today we are continuing BroadwayWorld's 2013 Tony Awards Clip Countdown with a special spotlight focused on a multi-Tony Award-winning choreographer, director and performer who was involved with many landmark musicals of the 20th century - Michael Bennett.

The theater will be alive with The Sound of Music when a one-hour concert sing-along adaptation of the classic show is presented by Bergen County Players (BCP) as the final Second Stage production of the 80th season. Running for just three performances, from June 21st through June 23rd, shows will be on Friday and Saturday night at 8pm while the Sunday matinee curtain will be raised at 2pm. Dickinson, with special guest Nathan Lane, have been announced as presenters and performers at the 69th Annual Theatre World Awards Ceremony on Monday evening, June 3, 2013 beginning at 6:45 p.m. at the Music Box Theatre (239 West 45th Street), home of the current Broadway revival of Pippin. Mother and daughter, Rosemary Harris and Jennifer Ehle, both Theatre World Award Alumni, are 2013 Honorary Co-Chairs.

Now on stage at the Baldwin Theatre in Royal Oak is the adorable Broadway smash hit 'The Sound of Music.' Directed by the King Midas of Community Theatre, Randall Wrisinger, this production is spectacular; as usual, everything he touches turns to gold.

CINDERELLA -- the Rodgers + Hammerstein musical now at the Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway) -- played its 100th performance on Wednesday evening, May 29. The cast celebrated with a cake from Carlo's Bakery, home of TV's 'Cake Boss.' The musical began previews on January 25 and had its official opening night on March 3. Written for CBS-TV in 1957, this production of Rodgers + Hammerstein's CINDERELLA marks the musical's first-eve Broadway production, now in its 5th month of performances. The Friday, May 31st broadcast of WNBC-TV/Channel 4's program 'New York Live' seen weekdays at 12:30 p.m. will feature a backstage interview with CINDERELLA stars Laura Osnes and Santino Fontana.

Producers John Frost and Phil Bathols today announced that Julie Andrews, one of the most beloved stage and screen performers of all time, will visit Australia in May this year for the first time ever, to appear on stage in Brisbane, Perth, Sydney, Adelaide and Melbourne.

The annual ROCK THE DOCK! SUMMER BENEFIT BASH on Saturday, July 20, will be hosted by the one and only Susan Lucci. Actor and Bay Street Board Member, Richard Kind, who most recently won the DRAMA DESK AWARD for his role on Broadway's THE BIG KNIFE, will be the evening's celebrity auctioneer. PinnWorth Productions presents the humorous and touching play "On Golden Pond" at Mercer County Community College's Kelsey Theatre. Performances are Fridays, June 14 and 21 at 8 p.m.; Saturdays, June 15 and 22 at 8 p.m.; and Sundays, June 16 and 23 at 2 p.m. Kelsey Theatre is located on the college's West Windsor campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road. A reception with the cast and crew follows the opening night performance on June 14.

The experience of SANTA'S STORY as a theatrical performance is thought-provoking, not only in regard to its subject matter but also as an exercise in theatre-making. While the story clearly deals with meaningful issues and ideas, the production handles them in all too pedestrian a fashion.

For so many of us, Julie Andrews loomed large in our childhoods, a constant presence through repeated viewings of those two iconic films, MARY POPPINS, and THE SOUND of MUSIC. Jason Howland will act as musical director.
