Broadway stars Julia Murney, Ashley Brown, Michael James Scott, and Josh Young will appear in a special one night only benefit production of SONGS FOR A NEW WORLD on January 23 as part of Broadway By The Beach. Directed by Daniel Goldstein and written by three-time Tony winning composer Jason Robert Brown, a portion of the proceeds from the evening will be donated to the Cocoa Beach Regional Chamber of Commerce Arts Fund dedicated to benefit local arts organizations and education programs.

Broadway's 40 theatres aren't the only places to catch performances from your favorite stars! Well after Broadway orchestra's begin their overtures, ensemble members take their dance breaks, and performers belt out their eleven- o'clock numbers, the party continues at various cabaret venues throughout New York City. Scott Alan & Evening Standard and What's On Stage Award Nominated West End Star Cynthia Erivo (The Color Purple; I Can't Sing) will join forces for HOME AGAIN, three special concerts at the St James Studio as part of the 2015 London Cabaret Festival.

As previously announced, Alan will make his concert debut at 54 Below on January 19th.

On September 19, 2014, some of the biggest stars on Broadway were invited to perform at a benefit concert for the Amigos de Jesus Orphanage (http://www.amigosdejesus.org/) and the children of Honduras. Among the performances was a bilingual rendition of 'Let it Go,' sung by Robin de Jesus. Check it out below!

The cast will include Abigail Shapiro (current star of Liberty: A Monumental New Musical, "Cindy Lou Who" in How The Grinch Stole Christmas) as Sara Crewe, composer Andrew Lippa (Big Fish, The Addams Family, I am Harvey Milk) as Miss Minchin, Emerson Steele (young "Violet" in Violet) as Becky, Alicia Hall Moran (The Gershwins' Porgy and Bess) as Aljana along with Paige Brady ("Matilda" in Matilda The Musical), Ava Ulloa ("Matilda" in Matilda The Musical), Mavis Simpson-Ernst (Evita), and Emma Howard (Matilda The Musical, Violet). Additional Broadway stars cast in the concert to be announced soon.

Jennifer Ashley Tepper's The Untold Stories of Broadway, Volume 2 officially hit the shelves yesterday, November 18, from Dress Circle Publishing. The second book in a multivolume collection examines eight Broadway theaters and over 70 years of theatrical history through the voices of such Broadway greats as Jason Robert Brown, Joanna Gleason, Jonathan Groff,Jeremy Jordan,Laura Linney, Joe Mantello, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Robert Morse, Harold Prince, Charles Strouse, Alex Timbers, Julie Taymor, Robert Wankel, George C. Wolfe and more. The eight Broadway theaters featured in the second book are the Palace Theatre, the Barrymore Theatre, the Gershwin Theatre, the Circle in the Square, the Shubert Theatre, the Criterion Center Stage Right, the Vivian Beaumont Theatre and the Nederlander Theatre. Tepper and her Broadway friends just celebrated the launch of the book at Sardis and you can check out photos from the special event below!
