NO WORD IN GUYANESE FOR ME to be Presented as Part of the Women's Voices Theater Festival

Rainbow Theatre Project will mount a full production of Wendy Graf's No Word in Guyanese for Me as part of the Women's Voices Theater Festival, a regional collaboration that includes 30 Washington, D.C.-area theaters producing plays by female and female-identifying playwrights. After being performed as a staged reading last season, No Word in Guyanese for Me will run from February 8 March 4, 2018 at the District of Columbia Arts Center.

???????Rainbow Theatre Project Producing Artistic Director H. Lee Gable and Managing Director Michael Kelley announce the 2017/18 season, which will include two readings and two productions, one of which will be a part of the 2018 Women's Voices Theater Festival. During Rainbow Theatre Project's fifth season, the company will be in residence at the District of Columbia Arts Center.

Rainbow Theatre Project's next reading, No Word in Guyanese for Me, will tackle one of today's most sensitive issues: the conflict that exists for many between their sexual identity and their faith. Written by Wendy Graf, No Word in Guyanese for Me will be performed on Monday, October 17 at 7:30pm at Source Theatre.
