ROOM ON THE BROOM Coming to Birmingham Repertory Theatre

Tall Stories' hit family show Room On The Broom flies into Birmingham Repertory Theatre direct from a smashing West End season, bringing a witch, her cat, a dragon, a few friendly animals and much more from Wednesday 28 January until Sunday 1 February.

Donaldson's STICK MAN Plays London's Leicester Square Theatre, Beginning Tonight

Scamp Theatre and Watford Palace Theatre are delighted to announce that Stick Man by Julia Donaldson will return in 2014, and for the first will play two capital cities simultaneously! Stick Manwill play Christmas Seasons at London's Leicester Square Theatre from today 8 November 2014 (where it returns for a fourth consecutive season) and at the Edinburgh's Christmas festival from Saturday 22 November 2014. Peter Cincotti, David Wong & High Strung, THE GRUFFALO'S CHILD and More Set for TPAC's 2014-15 Season, Launching Today

BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center, the longest operating performance venue in lower Manhattan, presents Peter Cincotti, performing tonight, October 25 at 8PM, the first of four major concerts in the 2014-2015 Main Event Series, which also includes the Spanish Harlem Orchestra (November 21 at 8PM, $45 - $35) and The Hit Men (December 13 at 8PM, $45 - $35). Also featured are Alexis P. Suter (January 9 at 8PM, $45 - $35), and Ruthie Foster (May 8 at 8PM, $45 - $35), among others.

THE SNAIL & THE WHALE to Play Ware Center, 10/26

A tiny snail longs to see the world, so she hitches a lift on the tail of a humpback whale. But when the whale gets beached, how will the snail save him? The answer to that-along with a life lesson about friendship-will be colorfully and musically revealed through the storytelling magic, original music and physicality of the world-renowned, British children's theater company, Tall Stories. 'The Snail & The Whale' comes to the Ware Center of Millersville University on Sunday, Oct. 26, straight from its Broadway run for families with young children, as part of the Ware Center's Family Fun Fest series. The show will begin at 3 p.m.; the Ware Center lobby will open at 2 p.m. for kids to come early to participate in free, fun and creative show-themed activities and enjoy healthy snacks. The Ware Center is located at 42 N. Prince Street, Lancaster.

Marlowe Theatre Presents WHAT THE LADYBIRD HEARD, 17 August

Two crafty robbers, one tiny ladybird and a whole farmyard of fun: What The Ladybird Heard comes to Canterbury during the summer holidays. Based on the award-winning picture book by best-selling author Julia Donaldson (The Gruffalo), and award-winning illustrator Lydia Monks, this is a new stage adaptation with live music, original songs, puppetry and lots of interactive fun.

Segerstrom Center for the Arts has announced its 2014 - 2015 Family Series. Eight shows will feature an array of talented international artists who will entertain and inspire families gathered for the spontaneous thrill and joy of live theater. Each performance will be preceded by an hour of free audience engagement activities themed to the show. Performances are in the Center's Samueli Theater unless otherwise noted.

COCA to Present Tall Stories' SNAIL AND THE WHALE, 3/22-23

COCA presents Tall Stories' Snail and the Whale, March 22-23, 2014, in COCA's Founders' Theatre. A tiny snail hitches a lift on the tail of a humpback whale in order to see the world. But when the whale gets beached, how will the snail save him? Based on the beloved children's book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler, Snail and the Whale follows the tiny snail's amazing journey as seen through the eyes of an adventurous young girl and her seafaring father. Created and performed by Tall Stories, creator of The Gruffalo (at COCA, 2013) and Twinkle Twonkle (at COCA, 2012), Snail and the Whale is recommended for ages 3 to 10.
