The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra (BSO) Principal Pops Conductor Jack Everly will lead the BSO SuperPops in a concert featuring actor and Broadway star Jason Alexander, tonight, January 22 at 8 p.m. at The Music Center at Strathmore, and on Friday, January 23 at 8 p.m., Saturday January 24 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, January 25 at 3 p.m. at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall.

?KAREN WYMAN - the celebrated pop/jazz vocalist currently celebrating a renaissance since her days performing on "The Ed Sullivan Show" and "The Dean Martin Show" - will return to The Metropolitan Room on Saturday, January 31 at 7:00 PM. Her engagement at the venue last year was named a "Critic's Pick" by Time Out New York and called "a compelling concert and a totally-inspiring comeback performance" by BroadwayWorld.com. The new evening of music will feature timeless pop standards by Cole Porter, Jule Styne and Harold Arlen, in addition to 1960's classics from The Beatles and Burt Bacharach and her Billboard-charting hit "Why Can't I Walk Away?" The show will feature music director John Oddo (Rosemary Clooney, Michael Feinstein, Linda Eder) on piano leading an all-star trio.

Baltimore, Md. (January 12, 2015) — The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra (BSO) Principal Pops Conductor Jack Everly will lead the BSO SuperPops in a concert featuring actor and Broadway star Jason Alexander, Thursday, January 22 at 8 p.m. at The Music Center at Strathmore, and on Friday, January 23 at 8 p.m., Saturday January 24 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, January 25 at 3 p.m. at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall. Best known for his iconic portrayal of George Costanza on the hit series “Seinfeld,” Alexander first had a successful and lengthy Broadway career. He joins the Orchestra to reminisce about his remarkable and versatile career on the stage and screen, performing songs from several Broadway favorites, including Music Man, Pippin and Merrily We Roll Along. Porchlight Music Theatre and Artistic Director Michael Weber have announced the next production in the second season of Chicago's hit 'lost' musicals in staged concert series, Porchlight Revisits... City of Angels, featuring book by Larry Gelbart (A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, M*A*S*H), music by Cy Coleman (Sweet Charity, Barnum) and lyrics by David Zippel (The Goodbye Girl, Disney's Mulan) with direction by Christopher Pazdernik and music direction by Aaron Benham. City of Angels is presented for two-nights-only Tuesday, March 3 and Wednesday, March 4 at 8:00 p.m. and is performed on the set of Porchlight's Sondheim on Sondheim (February 6 - March 15) on nights when there are no performances at Stage 773, 1225 W. Belmont Ave.

Imelda Staunton will star as the indomitable Momma Rose in the West End transfer of Jonathan Kent's five star sell-out Chichester Festival Theatre production of Gypsy, the first to be seen in London for forty years. This strictly limited season opens at the Savoy Theatre on 15 April 2015 with previews from 28 March 2015 (7.30pm). Further casting for Gypsy, which goes on sale today, 18 December 2014, will be announced shortly.

Klea Blackhurst (Radio Gals), Janet Dacal (Wonderland, In the Heights) and Tony Award nominee Tony Sheldon (Priscilla Queen of the Desert) were a part of the star studded cast that featured Tony Award nominee Douglas Sills (The Scarlet Pimpernel, Little Shop of Horrors) in the title role.

Simply stunning!Megan Hilty, star of stage and screen, offered a good dose of holiday cheer and some fine vocals to an appreciative Kennedy Center audience this weekend. Combining musical theatre and pop selections she usually does in cabaret format with a few holiday tunes, the varied set offered a little something for everyone and allowed her to showcase her enviable versatility. While it's nearly impossible to pick highlights - because everything was just that good - a few favorite moments emerged.
