The Broadway at Birdland concert series is proud to announce that On The Town star Elizabeth Stanley will be celebrating the show's creators Betty Comden and Adolph Green in concert in 'Carried Away' on Monday, April 6 at 7pm. Elizabeth's very special guest will be Television/Broadway star Andrew Rannells.

Two-time Tony Award winner Patti LuPone returns to 54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club, in her acclaimed concert, 'The Lady with The Torch,' tonight, April 2nd, through the 14th, 2015.

I could probably write a one sentence review of Audra McDonald's concert at Bethesda's magnificent Music Center at Strathmore that would sum up my reaction quite well. It would read something like this: Audra is perfection and can do anything.

Today in 2008, the fourth Broadway revival of Gypsy opened at the St. James Theatre, where it ran for 332 performances. Gypsy is a musical with music by Jule Styne, lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, and a book by Arthur Laurents. It follows the dreams and efforts of Rose to raise two daughters to perform onstage and casts an affectionate eye on the hardships of show business life. The musical contains many songs that became popular standards, including 'Small World,' 'Everything's Coming up Roses', 'Some People', 'Let Me Entertain You', and 'Rose's Turn'.

Principal Pops Conductor Jack Everly leads the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra in performances of Singin' in the Rain,tonight, March 26, at 8 p.m. at The Music Center at Strathmore and Friday, March 27, at 8 p.m., Saturday, March 28, at 8 p.m., and Sunday, March 29, at 3 p.m. at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall. Ranked by the American Film Institute (AFI) as the No. 1 movie musical of all time, Singin' in the Rain stars Gene Kelly, Donald O'Connor and Debbie Reynolds, and features a lighthearted portrayal of iconic dance and memorable songs, including 'Make 'em Laugh,' 'Fit as a Fiddle' and more. Artistic and Executive Director Lisa Rubin invites audiences to discover seven spectacular Montreal premieres starting next fall with a rare production of the showbiz musical FUNNY GIRL by Jule Styne and Bob Merrill.

The new West End GYPSY cast recording, featuring Imelda Staunton and Lara Pulver, will hit shelves sooner than most expected.

Broadway's Hugh Panaro, star of the Broadway production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Phantom of the Opera, will host Skyline Theatre Company's "Broadway in Bergen" gala on Monday, March 30th at 7:00 pm at the George Frey Center for Arts and Recreation in the Fair Lawn Community Center in Fair Lawn.
