The Marcus Center for the Performing Arts and Milwaukee Public Schools continue to partner for the Center's performing arts outreach program - Arts Connect.  The Center is thrilled to announce this program is continuing to grow with its third Summer Arts Camp during the run of the Broadway show, Beautiful-The Carole King Musical, this week. This opportunity is free of cost and includes students from MPS' Riverside University High School, Ronald Reagan College Preparatory High School and Milwaukee High School of the Arts who have a strong interest in the performing arts.

As soon as Julia Knitel took the stage at the grand piano and opened her mouth to sing, she channeled every nuance of the legendary Carole King. Based on the inspiring true story of treasured Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter Carole King, BEAUTIFUL: THE CAROLE KING MUSICAL certainly lives up to its title. This charming, swiftly-paced production continues performances at the Ohio Theatre through June 11.

Carole King is an American treasure: a singer/songwriter of much renown, she possesses the showbiz bona fides that place her among the highest echelons of creative endeavor and for more than 50 years, she has provided the soundtrack for the lives of so many of us that you can't help but be caught up in an emotional fervor of remembrance and revelry when you hear one of her hit songs.

The West End production of Beautiful - The Carole King Musical, based on the early life and career of legendary singer songwriter Carole King, will complete its run at the Aldwych Theatre on 5 August 2017.

Producers Paul Blake and Sony/ATV Music Publishing announce that the Tony & Grammy Award-winning Broadway hit Beautiful-The Carole King Musical , about the early life and career of the legendary and groundbreaking singer/songwriter, will make its Fox Cities premiere at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center for one week only, May 30 - June 4.

From producers Paul Blake and Sony/ATV Music Publishing, CAPA and Broadway in Columbus present the Columbus premiere of the Tony and Grammy Award-winning Broadway hit Beautiful-The Carole King Musical, about the early life and career of the legendary and groundbreaking singer/songwriter, at the Ohio Theatre June 6-11.

The latest musical to grace the stage at Syracuse's Landmark Theatre is the U.S. tour of the jukebox musical Beautiful: The Carole King Musical. Dance Against Cancer producers Erin Fogarty and Daniel Ulbricht have partnered with the American Cancer Society to present the seventh annual fundraising event on Monday, May 8, 2017. The gala benefit brings together artists from leading dance companies from New York City and beyond for a night of performances and world premieres.

California Musical Theatre announced the 2017-18 Broadway Sacramento season at the Community Center Theater, featuring four shows not previously presented in the series and two that are favorites of Broadway Sacramento audiences. The season features Sacramento premieres of Beautiful - The Carole King Musical, Something Rotten!, Finding Neverland, and An American in Paris. Returning shows are The Book of Mormon and Jersey Boys.
