Esquire Network announced today that it will premiere the entire original series THE SHORT GAME On Demand beginning December 22. This will mark the first time the network has premiered an entire series On Demand prior to its network premiere (Tuesday, January 20 at 10/9c). Beginning December 22, all 10 episodes of THE SHORT GAME will be viewable on the network's mobile app Esquire TV NOW and online at esquiretv.com/now, and on multiple MVPD partners, including Comcast, Charter, Time Warner, DirectTV, Verizon and Cablevision.

RADiUS-TWC has announced that it has partnered with the Duplass Brothers and Blumhouse Productions on a CREEP trilogy after the film's highly praised and fear inducing SXSW premiere. CREEP stars Mark Duplass (SAFETY NOT GUARANTEED) who co-wrote the film with Patrick Brice, making his directorial debut. Produced by Jason Blum (PARANORMAL ACTIVITY, THE PURGE, INSIDIOUS and SINISTER franchises) and Duplass, CREEP is a unique two-man psychological thriller that upends expectations at every turn. RADiUS is also distributing Duplass' THE ONE I LOVE which the company acquired out of Sundance and plans to release on August 15th.
Starz Digital Media Buys Rights to George Takei Documentary TO BE TAKEI, Headed for SXSW

Heading into the annual SXSW festival, Starz Digital Media has snagged the rights to the film, To Be Takei. The documentary about pop-culture icon George Takei premiered at this year's Sundance Film Festival and was directed by Jennifer M. Kroot (It Came from Kuchar). The company has acquired all rights for U.S. and Canada. The company will distribute with a theatrical release planned for 2014. The announcement was made today by Kevin Kasha, Head of Acquisitions for Starz.

HBO Documentary Films has acquired the U.S. television rights to Madeleine Sackler's feature documentary DANGEROUS ACTS STARRING THE UNSTABLE ELEMENTS OF BELARUS, it was announced today. HBO Documentary Films is currently in production on a film telling the story of the historic Supreme Court case that overturned Proposition 8, California's ban on same-sex marriage, it was announced today by Michael Lombardo, president, HBO Programming. Over the last five years, directors Ben Cotner and Ryan White have had exclusive access to the work of the powerhouse legal team led by Ted Olson and David Boies, as well as the lives of the four plaintiffs in the case. The untitled feature will be completed by the end of this year for debut on the network in 2014.
