Stage Directors and Choreographers Foundation (SDCF), the not?for?profit foundation affiliated with Stage Directors and Choreographers Society, has announced the honorees of this year's Zelda Fichandler Award, Joe A. Callaway Awards, and Breakout Award. The awards will be presented at an invitation? only event on Sunday, November 11, 2018 in Manhattan.

A brand-new dance narrative Alexa is coming alive at Inwood Art Works' Culture Hub on Friday, June 29th at 9pm, at 440 W. 202nd Street in Northern Manhattan. Alexa , a site-specific show based on the Amazon device, closes out the month-long programming at Culture Hub, a pop-up community arts center that is part of a vacant space activation program by Inwood Art Works. The Culture Hub is 'Inwood's Creative Space' for the entire month of June, with the hope to eventually create a permanent space for arts and culture in the Inwood community.

This exuberant production of the record breaking Broadway smash hit is directed and choreographed by Emmy Award-winner and Tony Award-nominee Josh Bergasse who will bring new life to more than 30 classic songs including 'Stand by Me,' 'I'm a Woman,' 'Hound Dog,' 'Fools Fall In Love,' 'On Broadway,' 'Yakety Yak,' 'Pearl's a Singer,' 'Treat Me Nice,' 'There Goes My Baby,' 'Love Potion #9,' 'Jailhouse Rock,' and 'Spanish Harlem.' The Ogunquit Playhouse is thrilled to be partnering once again with Rotary International to continue in the fight to eradicate polio worldwide by 2020. The annual Rotary Night is scheduled for Wednesday, May 23 for the evening performance of Smokey Joe's Cafe. The public is invited to join the fight by purchasing a ticket to the all-new revival of the sizzling song and dance show that features more than 30 of rock 'n' roll's greatest hits! A portion of every ticket purchased for that evening's performance will be donated to Rotary International. The Ogunquit Playhouse has contributed over $10,000 towards this cause through Rotary Night ticket proceeds over the past seven years.

On March 12, Broadway Belts for PFF! featured a "Sweet Sixteen" reunion of the Tony Award winning musical Hairspray. Broadway's Julie Halston emceed the evening, joined by Broadway stars Bryan Terrell Clark, Robert Creighton, Stephanie Gibson, Lesli Margherita and New York Yankees legend and Latin Grammy-nominee Bernie Williams.

Now entering its 28th year, Broadway Theatre Project (BTP), a program described by Playbill as 'The world's most prestigious musical theatre arts education program for high school and college students', announces Pamela Cooper of The Cooper Company will join the visiting faculty team. BTP faculty range from professional dancers and choreographers to vocal coaches and directors.

Stephanie Gibson (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory) and Chester Gregory (Motown: The Musical) will join the star-studded list of performers at this year's Broadway Belts for PFF!, hosted by Broadway's Julie Halston.
