Washington and author Adam Shepard, both native North Carolinians, will serve as its fall 2013 speaker series presenters in Kenan Recital Hall. Presented by Duke Energy, Washington and Shepard's speeches will be held tonight, Aug. 27 and Monday, Sept. 16, respectively. Both events are free and open to the public, but registration is required in advance.
