The Fulton Theatre has announced the highly anticipated production of the timeless musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat!

Maine State Music Theatre’s second main stage production, perennial favorite, JOSEPH & THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT, takes the Pickard stage by storm, exploding with color, energy, and sheer irrepressible joy. Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s early collaboration based on the Book of Genesis has as its central metaphor the coat of many colors, and like that kaleidoscopic garment, the show itself is a rich, eclectic tapestry that weaves together musical and choreographic genres, ancient and modern sensibilities, and perhaps best of all in this production – a diverse and deeply talented cast that is beautiful to behold.

Pioneer Theatre Company will present the record-setting Broadway hit, Hello, Dolly! as the closing musical for the current season. The turn-of- the-century romance, bursting with music and energetic dance will run from May 13 through May 28, 2022.

The Marriott Theatre, 10 Marriott Dr. in Lincolnshire, is kicking off the New Year with WEST SIDE STORY, the revolutionary Tony Award-winning musical that forever changed American theater running now through March 27, 2022.

Experience the passion and heart-pounding excitement of WEST SIDE STORY like never before. Directing the production is Victor Malana Maog, critically-acclaimed and award-winning veteran of the stage with over 25 years of theatre experience. Musical direction is by Jeff Award winner Ryan T. Nelson with choreography by Jeff Award nominee Alex Sanchez.  

The first ever Tony Award winner for Best Musical, based on the book by Sam and Bella Spewack with music and lyrics by Cole Porter, is to be directed by Johanna McKenzie Miller. In a twist of fate, Miller will make her mainstage directorial debut at the Marriott Theatre roughly 20 years after making her acting debut under the very same spotlight. Musical direction for this production is led by Jeff Award winner Ryan T. Nelson with choreography by Jeff Award nominee Alex Sanchez.  

For the first time in history, three actors who divided performances of a starring role were all awarded a Tony.

Broadway and Vegas star Brent Barrett will not perform the title role in Andrew Lloyd Webber's PHANTOM OF THE OPERA at Germany's Stage Metronom Theater in Oberhausen due to an injury. David Arnsperger will step in for the role. 

BroadwayWorld has learned that Broadway and Vegas star Brent Barrett will reprise the title role in Andrew Lloyd Webber's PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, beginning November 12 at Germany's Stage Metronom Theater in Oberhausen.

DAS PHANTOM DER OPER feierte vor 25 Jahren Deutschlandpremiere in Hamburg und wird fur zehn Monate ab dem 12. November im Stage Metronom Theater in Oberhausen zu sehen sein.

Robert F. Chew, known by many as 'Proposition Joe' on HBO's THE WIRE, has died at age 52. Chew died in his sleep last night due to heart failure, his sister told The Baltimore Sun, today.
