Known for its illustrious Central Chamber Series, Central Presbyterian Church (593 Park Avenue) is proud to announce the addition of its Central Theatrical Series. Topics ripped from headlines of CNN are also the basis for the classic 1964 musical comedy FIDDLER ON THE ROOF. The record breaking musical is as relevant today as ever, and the National Tour settled into Shea's Buffalo Theatre last night after it's launch in Syracuse, NY two weeks ago.

Nine year old Sarajane Morse Mullins captured the hearts of that first year's audience as the world's most famous redhead. Now twenty-two years later, Sarajane returns as Miss Hannigan on the same stage she began her professional career. The York Theatre Company has announced the line-up for its 49th anniversary season at The York Theatre at Saint Peter's.

The Round Barn Theatre at Amish Acres has announced is 2019 show selections for its 24th subscription season that includes 280 performances from April 11 through December 31st. The season's theme is "Metamorphosis: The Next Stage;" a season of change, growth and transformation.

"It's kind of like I'm playing my grandparents,' said Hoffman, one of the cast members who learned Yiddish for this singular production.

Known for 'staging the world', Zorlu, presented us its first Broadway musical in Turkish back in the beginning of the year. A co-production between Zorlu and Talimhane, Fiddler on the Roof (Damdaki Kemanci) had a one night only performance on August 7 at the Harbiye Open Air Theatre.
