The Nashville Tribute Band Returns to SCERA Shell Outdoor, 8/24

The Nashville Tribute Band, a group of musicians and vocalists who merge LDS music with country music, are back at the SCERA Shell Outdoor Theatre for a family night concert on Monday, August 24 @ 7:00pm. They will be featuring songs from their acclaimed new album 'Redeemer: A Nashville Tribute to Jesus Christ.'

Unconventional theatre that honors conventional, musical theatre classics. F bomb after F bomb that somehow manage to be surprisingly inoffensive. Hilarious joke after joke opposite shocking reality. "Book of Mormon" is full of pairs. It even begins with a very catchy number titled "Two by Two," in which young men pair off for their missions.

Mildred's Umbrella Theatre Company today announced that its 2015-16 season will include a world premiere, as well as a return engagement of one of its earliest shows. The full season lineup includes the Houston premiere of THE DROWNING GIRLS by Beth Graham, Charlie Tomlinson and Daniela Vlaskalic; a reprise of Mac Wellman's DRACULA; the world premiere of DOLLFACE by Katharine Sherman; and a special surprise show to be announced later this fall. The season wraps up with the company's eighth annual MUSEUM OF DYSFUNCTION.

Zell Williams; The Last Book of Homer by Jose Rivera; Muthaland by Minita Gandhi; Office Hour by Julia Cho; and Sadie River's Drag Ball on the Lawn by Basil Kreimendahl. The festival takes place July 16-19, 2015. The IGNITION festival creates a productive environment for both emerging and established playwrights to explore and develop their new work.
