MainStage Irving-Las Colinas unveiled four plays and a musical that will be produced as part of the 2016-17 season to a packed house of volunteers, subscribers, and supporters on Saturday night, May 9 at the Irving Arts Center. Met with tremendous excitement, the new season features Chicago the Musical, Five Women Wearing the Same Dress, Calendar Girls, Talking Pictures and My Sister Eileen. Masterworks Broadway will release the Encores! cast recording of Gentlemen Prefer Blondes. The album will be recorded in New York City this week, and will feature "A Little Girl From Little Rock," "Bye Bye Baby," and of course, the classic made famous by Marilyn Monroe, "Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend."

Megan Hilty and Rachel York star in the Encores! production of Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, opening tonight, May 9 at New York City Center. Gentlemen Prefer Blondes is directed by John Rando with music direction by Rob Berman and choreography by Randy Skinner and will play for seven performances, May 9 - 13, at New York City Center, 55th Street between 6th and 7th Avenues.
