THE RAILROAD PLAYHOUSE today announced its upcoming season. After celebrating their First Anniversary in December, the RR Playhouse continues to bring high-quality productions to Newburgh, fostering new playwrights and seasoned artists. The announcement will be made at the donor appreciation party at the playhouse Saturday, February 18
Railroad Playhouse To Launch After-School Program this Spring

This Spring, in addition to performances, the Railroad Playhouse will launch an After-School program focusing on teaching interested students character and scene study. There will also be adult scene study classes and more GLEE Summer Camp!

Internationally acclaimed Tenor Anthony Kearns brought guests of the Fasig-Tipton Sales Pavilion to a rumbling applause after his impressive performance for the first-ever 'A Night at the Pavilion: A Tribute to Kentucky's Horses.' The event, hosted by the Equine Health and Welfare Alliance, Inc. (EHWA), was held on Sunday evening, July 10 - just two days before the summer yearling sale.

Directed by Orlando Shakes Artistic Director Jim Helsinger, Beowulf features actor/writer Charlie Bethel in a one-hour solo performance that is both a faithful adaptation and utterly accessible for those who slept through Medieval Lit. Based on the classic monster tale and morality poem, the intrepid hero, Beowulf, travels across the sea to save a kingdom from Grendel, an evil, man-eating monster, and its equally demonic mother, only to die in battle with an avaricious dragon.
