THE WHITE PLAINS PERFORMING ART CENTER (WPPAC) is pleased to announce the New York premiere production of Bess Welden's THE PASSION OF THE HAUSFRAU, co-written and directed by Emmy-Award winning Annette Jolles. THE PASSION OF THE HAUSFRAU will play a eight performances only at the White Plains Performing Arts Center (11 City Place, White Plains, NY). Performances begin Thursday, February 3 and continue through Sunday, February 13.

To kick off the celebration of Black History Month in Southern California, a FREE Film Screening and Question and Answer Session with Stuart A. Goldman, Executive Producer of 'Becoming Barack: Evolution of a Leader,' a new documentary film about the formative years of President Barack H. Obama, will be presented by the Compton High School Alumni Association in conjunction with Compton High School and Corky Hale Productions, on Thursday, February 3, 2011 from 10:45 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. in the Compton High School Auditorium; 601 South Acacia Avenue (between Compton Boulevard and Alondra Boulevard); Compton, CA 90220 near the courthouse.

Rhoda Herrick has just announced that Garden of Earthly Delights will be extending its run for the second consecutive time, continuing through Sunday, May 31 at the Minetta Lane Theatre (18 Minetta Lane). The show, which opened to rave reviews on November 19, began previews on November 8 and was originally slated to run through January 18. The first extension would run through March 1 before the latest announcement today. Tickets for this extension are currently on sale through Ticketmaster; www.Ticketmaster.com or (212) 307-4100. Margaret Selby of CAMI Spectrum is booking an international tour for the 2009/2010 season.
