THE WATER DREAM is a new musical for the theater. In the tradition of modern myths like J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings, Jim Henson's The Dark Crystal, George Lucas' Star Wars, and Disney's The Lion King, this new epic will appeal to children and adults of all ages. Think of The Lion King, underwater...real water!

It is the tale of Cole Whalebone, a critical writer of mythological archetypes (a la Carl Jung or Joseph Campbell) who evolves into the author of his own original mythology.
The set is designed as a giant wooden dock, and features three pools of real water, as well as a giant aquarium of real water, where people and puppets swim and perform. Combining the experiences of a visit to the aquarium and a Broadway show, it will transport the audience to an unbelievably beautiful world.

FEATURING: Karmine Alers (RENT), Ryan Link (HAIR), Eric Lochtefeld (METAMORPHOSIS), Robert Walsh (Actors Shakespeare Project) and many more!

Ann Harada, previously announced to play Water Woman, has had to back out for a film engagement. Catherine Hesse will take over for Ms. Harada, to whom we wish much success!
