London is never short of theatre temptations, whether splashy West End shows, epic dramas or bold fringe offerings. The Almeida will broadcast Artistic Director Rupert Goold's production of RICHARD III, with Ralph Fiennes as Shakespeare's most notorious villain and Vanessa Redgrave as Queen Margaret, live to cinemas in the UK and around the world on 21 July.

The Almeida has announced its 2016/17 season, which is bookended by Shakespeare. It kicks off with the Rupert Goold-directed RICHARD III, starring Ralph Fiennes and Vanessa Redgrave, and closes with Andrew Scott's Almeida debut in the title role of HAMLET. The season also includes a world premiere from Ella Hickson and the West End return of Robert Icke and Duncan Macmillan's adaptation of George Orwell's 1984, followed by an international tour.

Bold New Voices: Past, Present and Future, a collaboration between My Image Studios Harlem (MIST Harlem) and Voza Rivers/New Heritage Theatre Group will present a film screening of the Royal Shakespeare Company's critically acclaimed Pan African production of William Shakespeare's Julius Caesar, starring an all Black British cast, on June 22 at 7:00pm at My Image Studios Harlem (MIST Harlem), 46 West 116th Street.

BAFTA Award-winning director Joe Wright and Olivier Award-winning choreographer Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui join forces again following Anna Karenina for the UK premiere of Aime Cesaire's A Season in the Congo, an epic retelling of a vibrant nation's turbulent first year of freedom. Chiwetel Ejiofor plays Patrice Lumumba in his Young Vic debut.

Debbie Allen's hit Broadway production of Tennessee Williams' Cat On A Hot Tin Roof will come to an end tonight, 10th April at London's Novello Theatre.

The cast began rehearsals this week for the Novello production, opening November 21.

Produced by Stephen Byrd and Alia Jones for Front Row Productions, Cat On A Hot Tin Roof will run at the Novello Theatre from 21 November to 10 April 2010, with press night on 1 December. Set designs are by Morgan Large with costume designs by Fay Fullerton, lighting by David Holmes, sound by Richard Brooker and original music by Andrew 'Tex' Allen.
