So Long Boulder City, a new comedy co-written and starring Jimmy Fowlie, opened last night at Subculture Theatre (45 Bleecker Street, Downstairs). Jimmy was joined by director and co-writer Jordan Black, Nick Adams (Priscilla Queen of the Desert) and Drew Droege (Bright Colors and Bold Patterns). Scroll down for photos from the festivities!

So Long Boulder City, a new comedy co-written by and starring Jimmy Fowlie as La La Land's Mia Dolan, and co-written and directed by Jordan Black is currently playing at The Subculture Theatre, (45 Bleecker Street, downstairs) will open tomorrow, Thursday, December 7. So Long Boulder City is presented by Mike Lavoie, Carlee Briglia and Keith Boynton (Oh, Hello On (off) Broadway) and will play a limited engagement through January 7. Celebration Theatre announced today its Fall Into Laughter! series. Under the artistic direction of Michael Matthews & Michael A. Shepperd, Fall Into Laughter is produced by Nathan Frizzell, Jay Marcus and Tom DeTrinis. Celebration is very proud to bring back to its stage three of the hottest comedic talents in Hollywood: JIMMY FOWLIE (GoGo Boy Interrupted), TOM LENK (Buffy) and DREW DROEGE (TVLand's upcoming series Heathers and star of Celebration's Die Mommie Die!) in a powerhouse of live comedy with three absurdly funny shows.

From the award-winning Celebration Theatre, producers Nathan Frizzell and Tom DeTrinis, whose hilariously twisted minds brought you Go-Goy Boy Interrupted, comes the hilarious solo show SO LONG BOULDER CITY, a satire of the almost-Best Picture winner LA LA LAND. Its genesis began when co-writer/star Jimmy Fowlie and co-writer/director Jordan Black watched the movie and couldn't help but ask themselves what exactly about Mia's poorly-produced, designed and attended one-woman show in the movie was supposed to have launched her highly successful career? And since there was no definite answer to be found, the two created their own hysterical spin on the glorious mystery.

Within 72 hours of releasing the original dates online, SO LONG BOULDER CITY completely sold out! Celebration Theatre is now announcing an extended run. New dates will be:   Fridays and Saturdays, August 11-12; August 18-19 8:00pm at Celebration Theatre @ The Lex 6760 Lexington Ave, Hollywood.

Wednesday nights will soon be all that and a bag of chips as Pop gears up to debut two new original comedies HOLLYWOOD DARLINGS and RETURN OF THE MAC (formerly 'The Joey Mac Project') on April 12.

Groundlings' latest laugh-packed Friday & Saturday night show GROUNDINGS HOOK-UP APP  had their packed house in the palms of their hands laughing hard and reacting loudly to every possible twist, turn and diss. Jordan Black deftly directed his very talented cast of eight comedians extraordinaire at a lightning pace covering 14 skits in a little less than two hours.

Boy band heartthrob and all-around performer Joey McIntyre is in the spotlight again, as Pop, T Group Productions and partner CBS Television Studios have begun production in Los Angeles on the upcoming eight-episode scripted television comedy series, THE JOEY MAC PROJECT.

The actors from "Beverly Winwood's acting school" return to the Center's Renberg Theatre for yet another try at Hollywood success. Beverly Winwood returns for an exclusive, one-night-only fundraiser tonight, Nov. 18, at 6 p.m.
