The Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts today announced globally renowned flutist Sir James Galway will be joined by his wife, flutist Lady Jeanne Galway, at the Monday, March 25, performance of the Center's popular Regional Arts Classical Concert Series. The pair has not performed at the Kravis Center since 2011, and the week after St. Patrick's Day is perfect timing for their musical return.

NYC native, Jordan Siwek, continues to dazzled audiences with his new music video for his hit single, 'Lover and a Giver'. The video premiered exclusively on CelebMix who declares, 'He might be an emerging singer-songwriter but a glimpse into his work will be enough to show his caliber.' The track draws inspiration from brilliant singer-songwriters such as John Lennon, Cat Stevens, Joni Mitchell, and Marvin Gaye.

The acclaimed JazzMN Orchestra will hold its final concert of the season on April 8th, 2019 on Chanhassen Dinner Theatres' Main Stage. The concert marks its season finale, also marking JazzMN's 20th anniversary celebration event.

Raue Center For The Arts welcomes award-winning singer-songwriter Judy Collins to the stage in 2019! The esteemed musician will bring her imaginative interpretations of traditional and contemporary folk standards and her own poetically poignant original compositions to downtown Crystal Lake at 7 p.m. on February 16, 2019.

Revered jazz vocalist Tierney Sutton makes her Cafe Carlyle debut, March 19-23. An 8-time Grammy nominee over the course of her esteemed career, Sutton has received seven consecutive nominations for Best Jazz Vocal Album - one for every project she has released over the last decade. In 2013 she released After Blue, a jazz-inspired re-imagining of the legacy of Joni Mitchell.

Liverpool-based outfit Ernest Moon presents 'Satdeenight Ready' off their 'Ba-jesus' EP, which is finally being released on CD in early April. With a voice brimming with old soul and emotion, Joshua Thew makes his musical debut out now via Flaunt. Reminiscent of artists such as James Blake in his swirling production and Joni Mitchell in the brutal honesty of her lyrical content, Joshua invents his own fluid medium of internalizing the end of a relationship. Pacing the floor of an empty room, the viewer follows his contemplation of loneliness until pleasantly greeted with a faceless stranger. 'This song is about a random encounter I had with someone,' Joshua recounts the original inspiration for the song, 'It was a realization that I had been closed off and numb with other people up until that point and an indicator that I was moving on.' While Joshua may have reconciled with his heartbreak, the beauty of the destruction is monumentalized. The video was directed by Brandon Mercer.

Honoring musical icon Joni Mitchell's legacy and 75th birthday, Decca Records will release The Music Center Presents Joni 75: A Birthday Celebrationon March 8, 2019. On Joni's 75th birthday last November, a star-studded roster of musicians gathered together to pay tribute to the legendary singer-songwriter. The evening was recorded and is now subsequently being released. It features performances by Brandi Carlile; Glen Hansard; Emmylou Harris; Norah Jones; Chaka Khan; Diana Krall; Kris Kristofferson; Los Lobos with La Marisoul, Cesar Castro & Xochi Flores; Graham Nash; James Taylor; Seal; Rufus Wainwright; and more. Singer/songwriter and five-time Grammy Award winner Michael McDonald is set to hit the road this summer for a co-headlining U.S. tour with R&B legend Chaka Khan. Tour highlights include performances at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles and Chicago's Ravinia Festival. The San Francisco International Arts Festival (SFIAF) is pleased to reveal the full schedule of performances for the 2019 Festival that will run from May 23 - June 2 and have as a central theme The Path to Democracy. As the dark clouds of nationalism and fascism re-assert themselves on the global stage, SFIAF looks at some of the struggles for democracy past and present and how they manifest themselves in different cultures. The Festival will take place at, and in partnership with, the Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture.

Bay Area Cabaret welcomes back world-renowned guitarist and singer John Pizzarelli and singer Jessica Molaskey, a duo Time Magazine calls the "Astaire-Rodgers of the cabaret world." Bay Area Cabaret audiences will have the chance to see, or choose between, two varied programs:  The first, at 3:30 is a centennial tribute to Nat King Cole, a Venetian Room regular, whose work is celebrated on Mr. Pizzarelli's upcoming CD, Centenially Yours. The second show, American Stories, at 7:30, is a duo show by John and his talented wife Jessica that debuted at Cafe Carlyle and features an eclectic mix of music by George and Ira Gershwin, Johnny Mercer, Paul Simon, Stephen Sondheim, Stevie Nicks and the couple's signature mashups and medleys. Aligned both in their love of the American Songbook and their desire to expand and present it to new audiences, Bay Area Cabaret and John Pizzarelli and his wife Jessica enjoy a partnership that reaches back well over a decade.

Philadelphia Theatre Company will kick off the new year welcoming one of the greatest living American musical theatre composers to the stage at the Suzanne Roberts Theatre. For one-night only, Jason Robert Brown will perform an intimate solo concert today, January 26, 2019 at 7 p.m.
