Philadelphia Theatre Company will kick off the new year welcoming one of the greatest living American musical theatre composers to the stage at the Suzanne Roberts Theatre. For one-night only, Jason Robert Brown will perform an intimate solo concert on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 7 p.m.

Bay Area Cabaret kicks off the new year welcoming back Tony-nominated Broadway star Carmen Cusack on Sunday, January 20 at 5:00 p.m. Ms. Cusack returns to the Venetian Room with an evening celebrating her favorite songs and the artists behind them including singer/songwriters past and present like Joni Mitchell, Dolly Parton, Kate Bush and Kimbra, plus she'll offer a sampling of original tunes and Broadway selections.

Area Stage Company in Coral Gables, known for it's critically acclaimed, reimagined Mainstage productions of Broadway classics, as well as it's professional-level youth Conservatory, will present The Ballad of Janis Matthews and the Dodo Scouts, a world premiere musical written, directed, and designed by ASC's own Giancarlo Rodaz, with music by Rachel Dean.

Trevor Ashley and Phil Bathols today announced a Melbourne date for HEAR ME ROAR, their sensational new music event that will bring together some of the greatest songs ever written by women, performed by some of Australia's leading female artists. Taking its inspiration from Helen Reddy's legendary lyric, this exciting new show is a musical tribute to female empowerment and will play for one night only in Hamer Hall, Arts Centre Melbourne on Saturday 9 March 2019 to celebrate International Women's Day. Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday 14 December.

The Sheen Center for Thought & Culture has announced its 2019 winter/spring season, a rich program of theater, film, music, poetry, art, and talk events featuring artists and thought leaders including Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Mary Chapin Carpenter;Tony Award winner Lena Hall; Grammy Award-winning musician and recording artist Eileen Ivers; Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award nomineeAlexander Gemignani;and journalist and former Wall Street Journal columnist Sohrab Ahmari.

As previously announced, FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, will present Jill Eikenberry in Here I Go Again! The Golden Globe winner returns to the Feinstein's/54 Below stage with more songs from her life and her career, this time joined by a few very special guests. Their concert 'A Reely Celtic Christmas', is a wonderful collection of seasonal music, both traditional and contemporary. Songs written by Joni Mitchell, Steve Earle, The Pogues, Jackson Browne and The Celts' own Nonie Thompson are blended with traditional Celtic melodies and songs, and some rollicking seasonal music!

Gabrielle Aplin and Hannah Grace have released a collaborative Christmas EP December through Never Fade Records. The EP comes as the pair are set to perform together at the Never Fade Christmas Party at Union Chapel this evening (Dec 4th).

Paper Mill Playhouse will present 'Holiday Inn' from November 21 through December 30.
