A BEHANDING IN SPOKANE starring Academy Award-winner Christopher Walken and stage and screen stars Sam Rockwell, Anthony Mackie and Zoe Kazan opened on Broadway on Thursday, March 4 and will play a strict 16-week engagement. Directed by directed by John Crowley, the production is playing on Broadway at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre (236 West 45th Street). A BEHANDING IN SPOKANE is McDonagh's first play to originate on Broadway.
Last night, Thursday February 18, The New Group opened Sam Shepard's A Lie of the Mind, directed by Ethan Hawke, as the second production in its 2009-2010 season. This production plays a limited Off-Broadway engagement through March 20 at The New Group at Theatre Row. This production marks the first New York revival since the play's 1985 award-winning debut.
The upcoming Broadway production of Lucy Prebble's critically acclaimed play ENRON, directed by Rupert Goold, has announced that Noah Weisberg, Rightor Doyle, Ian Kahn, Mary Stewart Sullivan, Madisyn Shipman and January LaVoy have joined the company.

Tocqueville and Eating Their Words' October collaboration was a sold-out success. For this intimate holiday event, Tocqueville's Executive Chef and owner, Marco Moreira, joins forces with playwrights Theresa Rebeck (Pulitzer finalist, Mauritius), Jonathan Marc Sherman (Things We Want), and Sam Forman (The Rise and Fall of Annie Hall). Three original plays, performed between the courses they inspired, are brought to life by Tony Award nominee Isabel Keating (The Boy from Oz), Christopher Evan Welch (Festen, Vicky Cristina Barcelona), Austin Lysy (The American Plan), and Aya Cash (Killers and Other Family).
