Upcoming MTI Shows - 2/20 for Seoul

On January 31st, 2011, Michelle Kay & ASCAP Board member Dean Kay presented the 2010 ASCAP Foundation Michelle & Dean Kay Award to Griffin Matthews and Matt Gould.

According to an Equity casting notice, FINDING NEVERLAND will have a New York City reading May 24-31, and will feature direction and choreography by Tony Award winner Rob Ashford. Auditions for the project will be held by Tara Rubin Casting on February 23-24 for the roles of Peter, George, Jack, and Michael.

Jonathan Larson's Rent is coming to downtown Nashville March 18-May 14 and producers are looking for the best singers in Music City USA to fill the show's colorful roles. Auditions are one-night only - Friday, February 18 - from 8 p.m.-midnight at the Printer's Alley venue, located in the former Boots Randolph Theatre (with parking available in the adjacent parking garage).

According to EW.com, Broadway veteran Jesse L. Martin is set to star in the pilot of Marc Cherry's latest development, Hallelujah. The show will feature a goaspel choir 'greek chorus' and will take place in Hallelujah, Tennessee. Further details on the pilot have not yet been released.

And 9 Works Theatrical's third endeavour of mounting the show is one tangible proof -- 'Rent' runs anew at the Carlos P. Romulo Auditorium, RCBC Plaza, Makati City in Manila from Saturday, February 12 to Sunday, March 6, 2011.

The Wagner College Theatre has named Philip Gerson the winner of the 2011 Stanley Drama Award for his play, 'Eyes Forward.' Gerson makes his home in both New York and Los Angeles.
