Feinstein's/54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club presents the I Love You Because 10th Anniversary Reunion Concert, a concert performance by the original cast of the Drama Desk-nominated Off Broadway musical from the Larson Award-winning team of Joshua Salzman and Ryan Cunningham on Sunday, December 4 at 7:00pm and 9:30pm.

Jef Flores, the lead star of 9 Works Theatrical's production of Jonathan Larson's TICK, TICK...BOOM!, totally relates to Jon, the character he's currently playing. Jon is an aspiring Broadway musical composer who's worried about the career choices he made especially now he's turning 30.

It's hard to believe that Jonathan Larson's epic rock musical masterpiece, Rent, debuted on Broadway, making headlines around the world, winning the Pulitzer Prize and bringing a whole new generation of audiences to the theater 20 years ago. Larson who died just prior to the show's 1996 off-Broadway opening didn't live to see the acclaim with which his musical - based upon Puccini's La Boheme - was greeted, but if we believe in such things, we may rest assured that since his untimely demise he has watched over Rent's evolution, which includes the 20th Anniversary production now touring the country in an astounding revival which reaffirms its place among the very best of American musical theater.

National Alliance for Musical Theatre (Betsy King Militello, Executive Director) has announced the full cast for the 28th Annual FESTIVAL OF NEW MUSICALS. The Festival will take place on Thursday, October 27 and Friday, October 28, 2016 at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street, between 8th and 9th Avenues).

A LITTLE NEW MUSIC returns to the Catalina Jazz Club in the heart of Hollywood for its latest showcase of emerging musical theater creators and performers from near and far.  Since 2013, ALNM has introduced over 150 songs to its LA audience, featuring the best new musical theatre writing from Broadway and beyond.  On Monday, November 14th, ALNM presents its final LA engagement of the year.     

Lucie Jones rose to fame on The X Factor, and has since built up a strong list of theatre credits, including Les Miserables in the West End, American Psycho at the Almeida and Legally Blonde at Leicester Curve. She's now playing Maureen in the 20th anniversary UK tour of Jonathan Larson's Rent, which begins at Theatr Clywd on 21 October and plays at London's St James Theatre on 8 December-28 January, 2017.

Casting has been set for Center Theatre Group's production of "Amelie, A New Musical" at the Ahmanson Theatre which begins previews December 4, 2016, opens December 16 and continues through January 15, 2017.

 The producers of the RENT 20th Anniversary Tour announced today that single tickets for the upcoming tour engagement at the Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC) will go on sale on Friday, October 21, 2016 at 10A. The American Theatre Wing announced today that their Andrew Lloyd Webber Initiative has launched its second initiative program, the Training Scholarships, bridging the gap between talent and opportunity and creating a strong pipeline to the professional theatre for promising artists of all backgrounds.

PREMIERES, the New York based music theater organization whose mission is 'to bring new music theater to light,' has announced the complete cast and creative teams for this season's Inner Voices, the biannual series of solo works featuring new teams of playwrights and composers. Performances began October 3rd and continue through October 29 at The TBG Theatre (312 West 36th Street - between 8th & 9th Avenues). Opening Night is tonight, October 13th at 8:00pm.

Crowded Outlet, is proud to announce the New York premiere of Marisa Michelson's Marigold Chor Ensemble.
