Tony Award-nominee Andrew Rannells will reign as King George October 27 to November 29 in Hamilton on Broadway at the Richard Rodgers Theatre (226 W. 46 St). Mr. Rannells steps into the role while Tony Award-nominee Jonathan Groff - who joined the cast last spring at The Public Theater - takes a pre-negotiated one-month leave to film HBO's 'Looking' movie. Groff returns to the Hamilton stage on December 1.
After six long years, the wait is finally over! As BroadwayWorld previously reported, the musical web series The Battery's Down, which wrapped up its final season in late 2009, will return for a reunion special later this fall.
