Bird & Carrot presents THE MOTHER - a short film treat for ballet and dance lovers! On September 25th a tantalising short film featuring moments from Arthur Pitaa??s critically acclaimed ballet THE MOTHER starring NATALIA OSIPOVA and JONATHAN GODDARD which performed at the Southbank Centre in June 2019, will be released online.

The first production of the Finborough Theatre's 40th anniversary year, the world premiere of Finborough Theatre Playwright in Residence and Olivier Award nominee Athena Stevens's new play Scrounger opens at the Finborough Theatre for a four week limited season on Tuesday, 7 January 2020 (Press Nights: Thursday, 9 January 2020 and Friday, 10 January 2020 at 7.30pm).

In Pure Dance, international ballet star Natalia Osipova offers a handpicked program of classical and contemporary works, featuring several US premieres. She reunites with ABT principal David Hallberg, with whom she has shared a fabled stage partnership. The pair exhibits their sublime chemistry in Valse Triste created especially for them by the illustrious Alexei Ratmansky and in a duet from Anthony Tudor's classic The Leaves Are Fading.

Deborah Colker Announced As Southbank Centre's Artist in Residence - Summer 2019 Dance Programme Announced!

This summer sees Southbank Centre welcome acclaimed international dance companies to its three venues including Deborah Colker Dance Company, Cullbergbaletten (Cullberg Ballet) and Deborah Hay, Groupe Acrobatique de Tanger and Grupo Intergro alongside solo artists including a principal of the Royal Ballet Natalia Osipova and Mohamed Toukabri. Associate Company ZooNation Youth Company also return with their latest Southbank Centre commission.
