Cirque du Soleil's OVO to Play Cleveland in 2016

Thrilling more than 4.5 million people worldwide since the show premiered in Montreal in 2009, OVO will embark on a new journey, performing the same captivating production, but now in arenas throughout North America, giving more people the opportunity to enjoy a Cirque du Soleil show in their own town. OVO will be performing in Cleveland, Ohio in 2016. Details about show dates and tickets will be communicated shortly to the public.

Second Stage's New York premiere production of INVISIBLE THREAD is now in previews at the Tony Kiser Theatre (305 W 43rd Street). Tony Award winner Diane Paulus directs the new musical production, written by Matt Gould and Griffin Matthews. Darrell Grand Moultrie co-choreographs with Sergio Trujillo as choreographer. Broadway in Boston has announced that tickets for the highly anticipated upcoming engagement of PIPPIN will go on sale to the public this Sunday, October 25th.  Following its acclaimed run at the American Repertory Theatre in Cambridge, MA this captivating new production comes straight from Broadway where it won the 2013 Tony Award for Best Musical Revival. PIPPIN will play a limited two week run at the Boston Opera House February 2 - 14, 2016 as part of the 2015-2016 Lexus Broadway In Boston Season.

Official: Terrence Mann Will Return to Broadway in FINDING NEVERLAND!

BroadwayWorld has just learned  that Broadway veteran Terrence Mann (Beauty and the Beast, Les Miserable) will take over the roles of "Charles Frohman" and "Captain Hook" in the smash hit musical Finding Neverland beginning Tuesday, September 29. Anthony Warlow, Neverland's current Frohman/Hook, will play his final performance on Sunday, September 27.

The Old Globe's presentation of Kiss Me, Kate, the classic musical comedy featuring a book by Sam and Bella Spewack and an iconic score by Cole Porter, will now add a week by popular demand and run through August 9 on the Donald and Darlene Shiley Stage in the Old Globe Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Tickets for the extension will go on sale this Sunday, July 12 at noon.

It's Official: Anthony Warlow Will Join FINDING NEVERLAND Into the Fall

We reported it first last week, and now it's official as word is just in that Broadway and Australian stage vet Anthony Warlow will return to Broadway this summer when he steps into the roles of "Charles Frohman" and "Captain Hook" in mid-July. There is still no word on the star's exact start date, or the reason for Kelsey Grammer's temporary departure. Warlow will remain in the show until September 13, when Kelsey Grammer, who originated the role on Broadway, returns as Captain of the pirate ship.
