Theatre Club has announced the lineup for this spring's Ernst C. Stiefel Reading Series.

The Drama Desk and Obie Award-winning Keen Company today announced the writers for this year's Keen Playwrights Lab and Keen Teens programs.

The September Play Project, or #SPP, launches its inaugural year with a series of new works on the rooftop space of The Delancey, 168 Delancey Street, New York, NY 10002 this weekend, September 13th and 14, 2014.

Both performances will be at 5 PM. The plays are all 6 minutes in length and set outdoors. The series was conceived by co­producers Jenny Gomez and Jessica Mazo. The aim of the Project is to provide a diverse set of artists with a comfortable platform where they can create, with full production support. 100% of the proceeds from ticket sales will be split evenly between all the playwrights, actors, and directors that have volunteered their time and talent for the project.

Pill Hill Productions' THE FIERY SWORD OF JUSTICE, a cautionary tale about a high powered Public Relations executive whose compulsive truth telling costs her her job, has been chosen as an official selection of the 18th Annual New York International Fringe Festival - FringeNYC, A Production of The Present Company. Written and performed by Lauren Letellier, performances will run August 8th - 24th at the CSV Abrazo Inferno Gallery at 107 Suffolk St. 2nd floor. Kel Haney directs.

PEW-ISH, an unusual new project to expand the conversation about Jewish identity, especially among unaffiliated Jews, will launch with a special dramatic production of 10 new plays tomorrow, June 26, at the Loft at Judson Memorial Church in New York.

The writers for the program's eighth season are Kristoffer Diaz, Halley Feiffer, and Kenny Finkle, who have been commissioned to write thirty-minute, large cast plays, which will be produced with student actors Off-Broadway.

The readings kick off Monday, March 24 and will be held on consecutive Mondays through April 7. The readings will take place at New York City Center - Stage I (131 West 55th Street). Welcome in the New Year with The Flea Theater on Monday, January 13 at The Raising A Joyful Hell Benefit. The event honors playwright A.R. Gurney and philanthropists Nancy and Fred Poses for their contributions to The Flea and will feature a variety show starring comedian Lewis Black, actors Tina Benko, Sarah Jessica Parker, Jay O. Sanders and James Waterston, pianist Anthony De Mare, LAVA acrobatic dance and the singing ensemble The Lobbyists as well as members of The Bat Theater Company, the resident artists of The Flea in a preview performance of The Mysteries.
