Mint Artistic Director Jonathan Bank today announced that Stephen Schnetzer will join Todd Cerveris (South Pacific, Twentieth Century - Broadway), Mikaela Izquierdo (Cyrano de Bergerac - Broadway; The New York Idea, Gabriel - Atlantic Theater), Elisabeth Gray ('Understudies,' Breakfast at Tiffany's - Broadway), and 2015 Tony & Drama Desk Award nominee, Max von Essen (An American In Paris).

The Mint Theater has begun performances for the World Premiere of Yours Unfaithfully by Miles Malleson, an 'un-Romantic Comedy' about the price of free love. Performances began last night, December 27th, at The Beckett Theater at Theatre Row, and continue through February 18th. Opening Night is set for January 26th. Yours Unfaithfully was published in 1933 but never produced, making Mint's production a very belated World Premiere. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast in action below!

The Drama Book Shop proudly welcomes Mint Theater Company's Artistic Director Jonathan Bank for a discussion about the company's devotion to rediscovering lost plays and its current production, A Day By The Sea. The event, which is free to the public, will take place on Wednesday, August 17th at 5:00PM. Bank will be joined by critic and historian Peter Filichia.

Coming up next for Mint Theater Company (Jonathan Bank, Producing Artistic Director; Jen Soloway, Managing Director) will be the first ever New York revival of A Day by the Sea by N.C. Hunter, directed by Austin Pendleton. This will be the Mint's first production as a resident theater company at Theatre Row. Performances will begin July 22nd and continue through September 24th at their new home at the Beckett Theater at Theatre Row (410 West 42nd Street between 9th and Dyer Avenues). Opening Night is set for August 25th.

Gingold Theatrical Group's SHAW NEW YORK FESTIVAL, under the leadership of Artistic Director David Staller, hosts a SHAW NEW YORK SYMPOSIUM on Monday, March 14 from 6-8pm, at the Bruno Walter Auditorium, New York Public Library (111 Amsterdam Avenue). Mint Theater to Stage American Premiere of Hazel Ellis's WOMEN WITHOUT MEN

Mint Theater (Jonathan Bank, Producing Artistic Director; Jen Soloway, Managing Director) today announced that the next production, Women Without Men, will begin performances January 30th and continue through March 26th at New York City Center Stage II (131 West 55th Street). The play explores the clash of conflicting natures and petty competitions that erupt amongst the cloistered teaching staff of an all-girls boarding school.

Through out the past week, BroadwayWorld has been brinigng you coverage of the 67th Annual Emmy Awards with a decidedly theatre-specific focus, and tonight will be no different. At some point during the tedious Red Carpet, I will begin live blogging everything from the Andy Samberg's hosting performance to the awards to the acceptance speeches, and everything inbetween. That being typed, I will be doing this in shorts and a t-shirt, so don't expect too much fashion commentary.
