Bruce Vilanch has been announced to play Widow Twankey in The Pasadena Playhouse and Lythgoe Family Productions (LFP), ALADDIN AND HIS WINTER WISH, starring previously announced Ben Vereen (Broadway's Pippin and Jesus Christ Superstar) as 'The Genie,' Jordan Fisher as 'Aladdin' (Disney's Teen Beach Movie), Ashley Argota as 'The Princess' (Nickelodeon's True Jackson VP) and Richard Karn ('Home Improvement') as 'The Sultan.'

David Wilson Barnes plays Charlie Duff, a burnt-out local newscaster who transforms first his community and then himself when he begins praying on-air in the Huntington Theatre Company's new production of Stephen Belber's moving new drama The Power of Duff. Amy Pietz ("The Office," "Caroline in the City") plays Duff's ex-wife Lisa, and Jennifer Westfeldt (Kissing Jessica Stein, Friends with Kids) plays Sue, Charlie's co-anchor, in the production helmed by Huntington Artistic Director Peter DuBois. Performances began on October 11 at the Calderwood Pavilion at the BCA. The Power of Duff is produced in association with New York Stage and Film and Vassar's Powerhouse Theater. Ovation Network's Arts Programming Returning to Time Warner Cable

Time Warner Cable and Ovation today announced they reached an agreement to bring Ovation back to Time Warner Cable and Bright House Networks customers' lineups on January 1, 2014. Under the new agreement, the network has committed to deliver 200 more hours of original programming dedicated to the arts in the next year. By 2015, Ovation has committed to carry 250 hours per year of new and original programming growing to 300 hours for each subsequent year of the term.
