New Circle Theatre Company announced a new play contest for playwrights of color (including Black, Indigenous, Latinx, Asian, etc.) this week.

New Circle Theatre Company presents the third year of The Inferno Project, featuring world premieres of new short plays inspired by Dante's Inferno, at The Chain Theatre, 312 West 36th St, New York City.

With funding for the arts under attack and more anti-LGBTQ legislation in the wings under the new administration, the sixth annual Briefs: A Festival of Short LGBTQ Plays is needed now more than ever. Pearl Vodka in conjunction with That Uppity Theatre Company and Vital VOICE Magazine will present the sixth annual Briefs: A Festival of Short LGBTQ Plays. Briefs is a unique venture in St. Louis that brings together numerous directors and theatrical artists to showcase the work of eight different playwrights all under one roof. Briefs presents theatrical work that address the lives of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer or questioning people. The festival is targeted to a diverse and mature audience that appreciates good theatre in unique settings.

Curve is delighted to announce its new production of the award-winning West End and Broadway smash hit musical comedy Legally Blonde, playing at the theatre until Saturday the 14th May, will embark upon a two week run at Deagu Opera House in South Korea. Working with Richard Darbourne Ltd as part of the Deagu International Music Festival, the musical, directed by Curve Artistic Director Nikolai Foster, will perform internationally from 25th June to Saturday 2nd July.
