Judy Carmichael & Steve Ross Open Cabaret Series PERFECT PAIRS AT THE PALACE Tonight

'Count' Basie, one of the pre-eminent jazz pianists in the country, nicknamed Grammy nominated pianist Judy Carmichael 'Stride,' acknowledging the command with which she plays this technically and physically demanding jazz piano style. Stephen Holden of the New York Times called Steve Ross the 'Crown Prince of New York Cabaret.' Tonight, September 7th at 8p.m. for one night only, this 'royal' duo of jazz and cabaret come together on the HARMAN Stage to kick off the Courtyard by Marriott Stamford Broadway/Cabaret/Jazz Series 'Perfect Pairs at The Palace.' This series is also sponsored by Norman Drubner.

Hilary Kole to Replace Cyrille Aimee for Freddy Cole Performance at Stamford's Palace Theatre, 11/13

Due to a scheduling conflict, jazz vocalist Hilary Kole will replace Cyrille Aimee at the November 13th performance with Freddy Cole. The performance is a part of the Courtyard by Marriott Stamford Broadway/Cabaret/Jazz series "Perfect Pairs at The Palace," which is also being sponsored by Norman Drubner.

Come to the Cabaret…The Absinthe Cabaret, that is. Saturday night was the inaugural event of the newly formed Absinthe Cabaret in Franklin, TN. Executive Producer, Carolan Trbovich lined up a fantastic first event, with Broadway star Eden Espinosa headlining, and theatre and stage musician Johnny Rodgers hosting. Eden is best known for her roles as Elphaba in Wicked, for playing Maureen in the final cast of RENT on Broadway, and for originating the role of Brooklyn in the musical Brooklyn. Johnny Rodgers has toured with Liza Minnelli and appeared on Broadway with her during her show, Liza's at the Palace.
