Gamut Theatre's Stage Door Series is excited to present the radio play Journey to The Center of The Earth by Jules Verne, adapted by John De Lancie from the script by Nat Segaloff. Frozen fans can now sing along with one of the newest songs from Arendelle. Olaf's Frozen Adventure, a new 21-minute featurette, features four original songs written by Elyssa Samsel and Kate Anderson. Mosaic Theater Company's Production of Vicu a and the American Epilogue is in high demand and for good reason. If you're in DC and you meander to work every day in a cloud of existential dread wondering how we all got here and where our country could possibly be going, then I can't recommend this Trump-inspired satire highly enough. Written by Pulitzer Prize finalist John Robin Baitz (Other Desert Cities; Brothers and Sisters) and directed by Robert Eagan, this star-studded production has already been extended until December 3rd. Vicu a was originally produced to great critical acclaim during the 2016 election. The context of its incubation and inception is important, as at times the show feels disconnected from our current political reality. A new epilogue set 12 years in a dystopian future pulls the strands of past, present, and future together. It is sobering, eerie, and altogether necessary.

The second show of Mosaic Theater's Season Three, Vicu a & The American Epilogue, has been officially extended through December 3. Written by Jon Robin Baitz (Other Desert Cities; TV's Brothers & Sisters, and Feud Season 2) and directed by Robert Egan, this Trump-inspired satire stars John de Lancie (Star Trek, Breaking Bad) as a real estate mogul about to enter the final presidential debate of the 2016 campaign. It is followed by a haunting post-script set 12 years into the future assessing the state of the nation and all that's been wrought in the election's wake.

The first show of Mosaic Theater's third season, The Devil's Music: The Life and Blues of Bessie Smith, has been officially extended through October 1.

The Las Vegas Philharmonic presents its final concert of the 2016 – 2017 concert season, Cabrera Conducts Bruckner on Saturday, May 27th at 7:30 p.m. in Reynolds Hall at The Smith Center.  Music Director Donato Cabrera will host a pre-concert conversation at 6:30 p.m. for patrons to learn more about the history and meaning behind the music in the evening's program. 

Dallas Fan Days - one of the best comics, sci-fi, horror, anime and gaming events in Texas - just announced the addition of three new celebrity guests to this year's fall lineup. Dallas Fan Days is set to return Oct. 14-16, 2016, at the Irving Convention Center. Christian Slater, Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott will join a multitude of guests ranging from Star Trek: The Next Generation characters to Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D stars.

Theater For The Mind, Radio Play, Audio Drama, Audio Theater - call it what you will but writer, director, producer Kevin Herren is creating some outstanding new Audio Theater programs. These are not ordinary Audiobooks. These stories are fully dramatized with music and sound effects for a truly immersive experience. Titles include classic literature favorites A Christmas Carol, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, The Fall of the House of Usher and the children's Biblical Audio Theater series - In The Beginning featuring stories from the Bible.

Over the last several years much attention has been drawn to the abduction of children and, in rare cases, their return. A short time ago, the Cleveland area had the spotlight placed on it when three young ladies, Michelle Knight, Amanda Berry and Gina DeJesus, were freed after their many years of captivity in the Tremont home of Ariel Castro. This event makes one of the basic tenets of MR. WOLF, now on stage at Cleveland Play House's Outcalt Theatre, quite inciting to local audiences.
