The New Jersey Symphony will present the Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back in Concert featuring screenings of the complete film with Oscar—winning composer John Williams' musical score performed live to the film. The concert will be led by acclaimed conductor Constantine Kitsopoulos.

The Boston Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Andris Nelsons, will return to Europe for the first time since 2018, with a nine-city, 12-concert tour to major music capitals in England, Switzerland, Austria, Slovenia, Germany, and France. Anne-Sophie Mutter and Jean-Yves Thibaudet—two of the world's most in-demand artists and frequent BSO collaborators for decades—will join the orchestra for performances throughout the tour. The Charlotte Symphony announces an exciting summer  season that brings live music under the stars to communities throughout the Charlotte region.  This year's Summer Pops series features four concerts at Symphony Park including the highly  anticipated “Celebrate America!” with a spectacular fireworks display. The Symphony will also perform five free concerts in Charlotte-area community parks.  

Cedille Records releases Malek Jandali Concertos, an album featuring violin and clarinet concertos by the Syrian American composer Malek Jandali, who has been praised for writing “heart-rending melodies, lush orchestration, clever transitions and creative textures'' (American Record Guide). The album, to be released on May 12, 2023, comprises world premiere recordings of Jandali's Concerto for Violin and Orchestra with Rachel Barton Pine and Concerto for Clarinet and Orchestra with Anthony McGill, performed by the ORF Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra led by Marin Alsop, a champion of the composer's music.
