According to the Daily Mail, the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical Once has found a London home at the Phoenix Theatre and is set to begin performances in March 2013.

Written by Gregory Burke and directed by Tony Award winner John Tiffany (Once), Black Watch deploys its audience into the hostile environments faced by soldiers, both internal and external. Black Watch will run from tonight, September 19-October 7, 2012, at Sidney Harman Hall (610 F Street NW).

Bill Kenwright and John Miller present a strictly limited West End season of SOUL SISTER, the new musical inspired by the music, life and times of Ike and Tina Turner, premiered at the Hackney Empire. The show will then tour the UK and Ireland from 1 October - 8 December, playing York, Milton Keynes, Dublin, Coventry, High Wycombe, Southampton, Darlington, Newcastle and Edinburgh.

Tony-nominated actress Cristin Milioti, who plays the role of 'Girl' in the musical ONCE appeared on NBC 4 NEW YORK yesterday to talk about the hit Broadway show. Milioti shared her belief that it is the play's honesty which has created such a strong response from audiences. 'It's not a fairytale,' explains the actress, 'that makes it very relatable.' Over 20 years in the making, singer songwriter Glen Hansard released his first ever solo album, Rhythm and Repose, on Anti- Records on June 19. Best known for his work with The Frames, The Swell Season and in the feature film Once, for which he won an Academy Award, Rhythm and Repose is Hansard's debut solo album and first album of new material since his 2009 release Strict Joy with The Swell Season. Chicago Shakespeare Theater (CST) announces casting for the 2012 Fall Season. The Tony Award® and Pulitzer Prize-winning musical, Sunday in the Park with George by Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine will be staged by CST Associate Artistic Director Gary Griffin, September 26-November 4, 2012 in CST's Courtyard Theater. The season continues with The School for Lies by David Ives, adapted from Moliere's The Misanthrope and staged by CST Artistic Director Barbara Gaines, December 4, 2012-January 20, 2013 in CST's Courtyard Theater.
