ONCE had its press night at the Phoenix Theatre last night - and here are some shots from the curtain call and the red carpet!

Direct from sold-out engagements at The National Theatre of Scotland and the Lincoln Center Festival, this acclaimed one-man interpretation of Macbeth, starring Alan Cumming, will play a strictly limited 73-performance engagement at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre. Preview performances began on Sunday, April 7 (7 p.m.) with an official Opening Night on Sunday, April 21 (6 p.m.). The Broadway run will conclude on Sunday, June 30. Producer Ken Davenport has announced that veteran stage actors Jenny Sterlin and Brendan Titley complete the cast of Broadway's powerful new production of Shakespeare's Macbeth, starring Tony and Olivier Award winner and two-time Emmy Award nominee Alan Cumming (Cabaret, 'The Good Wife').

ONCE's Steve Kazee, Cristin Milioti, Will Connolly and Elizabeth A. Davis, from the original cast, played their final performance yesterday, March 24, 2013. Beginning tomorrow, March 26, Ben Hope will play the role of 'Guy,' Laura Dreyfuss will play the role of 'Girl,' Carlos Valdeswill play the role of 'Andrej' and Claire Wellin will play the role of 'Reza'. ONCE, winner of eight Tony Awards including Best Musical and the 2013 Grammy Award, celebrates its first Anniversary with a special encore performance and cake after the matinee tomorrow, Wednesday, March 20 (the actual date of the 1st Anniversary was Monday, March 18 but the show was dark). The production, based on the 2007 Academy Award-winning film, opened to rave reviews on Sunday, March 18, 2012 and is playing at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre, 242 West 45th Street.
