Manhattan Concert Productions will present the 25th anniversary concert of The Secret Garden this weekend, February 21 and February 22, 2016, at David Geffen Hall, Lincoln Center. The concert performances of the Tony Award-winning musical will feature a stunning Broadway and television cast, creative team, the New York City Chamber Orchestra, and a grand 200-voice chorus from across the United States. NYC composer, lyricist and pianist William Waldrop will make his Metropolitan Room debut on Sunday, September 20 at 9:30PM with a show entitled STILL, AND STILL MOVING: THE MUSIC OF WILLIAM WALDROP. Waldrop will be joined onstage by a starry lineup of singers who will perform his songs at the internationally acclaimed cabaret room.

Earlier in 2015, the final musical from legendary musical creative team John Kander and Fred Ebb opened at the Lyceum Theatre on Broadway. THE VISIT captivated audiences despite its brief run and lack of Tony Award wins. Now, the unique and devastatingly beautiful score is available from Broadway Records and Yellow Sound Label on THE VISIT (Original Broadway Cast Recording).
Kander and Ebb's Tony-nominated musical THE VISIT might have closed on Broadway earlier this summer, but according to leading lady Chita Rivera, the show will have another life overseas. She told MSN that the musical will soon open in Beijing, Singapore and maybe even London.

The company of Broadway's The Visit gathered in the studio on April 27th to record the musical's original cast album. The Visit is the final musical ever written by legendary Oscar Award, Grammy Award and Tony Award-winning composer John Kander and his writing partner lyricist Fred Ebb, before Mr. Ebb passed away. Produced by the Emmy Award-winning and Grammy nominated producer Michael Croiter (Matilda, Big Fish, Heathers), The Visit album is now available.
