On Wednesday, December 18th, the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund. Inc. (LDF)will host a special fundraising event at 54 Below (254 W. 54th Street, NYC) as part of its 'Artists For Justice' initiative. Tony Award-Winning actress Tonya Pinkins along with other celebrity guests, will perform a cabaret concert to benefit LDF's mission. The concert will feature the music of Tony Award-Winner Rupert Holmes, with performances by Sebastian Arcelus, Stephanie J. Block, Chuck Cooper, Bridgett Everett, Rupert Holmes, Norm Lewis, Patrick Page, Tonya Pinkins, John Procaccino, Steff Reed, and Tijuana Ricks.

The group will discuss the current state of the justice system as it relates to the narrative of A Time to Kill. The audience of that evening's performance will be invited to stay and participate in the dialogue, which is sure to generate a variety of reactions. A Time to Kill opened on Broadway on Sunday, October 20, 2013, at the John Golden Theatre (252 West 45th Street).
