42 years ago the great Mama Cass of Mamas and Papas fame died of a heart attack. To celebrate the life of this larger than life singer known for her songs like Dream a Little Dream and Make Your Own Kind of Music, the stars of the hit touring show CALIFORNIA DREAMING - The Music of the Mamas and the Papas are finally bringing their 'Summer of Love Tour' to Melbourne and it promises to be a real psychedelic trip down memory lane.

Irvington Stage Door Series Sets Final Reading of Season

The Irvington Town Hall Theater in Irvington, NY announces the final reading in their Irvington Stage Door Reading Series of the new musical The Great American Whoopee by Gonzalo A. Valencia and Michael Campbell on Monday, May 18 at 7:30 pm. The two have been working on this musical adaptation of Mushroom: The Story of the A-Bomb Kid, an autobiography written by John Aristotle Phillips and his friend, David Michaelis for over a year now.

Photo Flash: Titan Celebrates Opening Night of KING LEAR at Queens Theatre

Queens based Titan Theatre Company opened it's final production of it's Award Winning and Critically Acclaimed second season on Friday April 25th, 2014 with the opening of its highly anticipated adaptation of Shakespeare's Epic KING LEAR. The production, which stars Broadway vet Terry Layman in the title role and is made possible through a generous grant from the Queens Council for the Arts, will runs thru May 11, 2014 at the Queens Theatre, the borough's premiere performing arts venue, located in beautiful Flushing Meadows Park. THE JOST PROJECT Returns to the Philadelphia Museum of Art Today

The J?st Project looks forward to returning to the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the location where they launched their recording, 'Can't Find My Way Home' (Dot Time Records). As part of the Art After 5 series, the Philly-based band will perform today, May 9 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. The band is made up of internationally renowned vibraphonist Tony Miceli, vocalist/harmonicist Paul Jost, bassist Kevin MacConnell and drummer Charlie Patierno. This event is free with museum admission, $20; seniors $18; youth, 13 to 18, and students with valid ID $14; children 12 and under free. Berkeley Festiva to Welcome Davis Senior High School Baroque Ensemble, 6/4

The Berkeley Festival & Exhibition has announced the addition of a concert by the Davis Senior High School Baroque Ensemble on Wednesday, June 4 at 5pm. Located just northeast of the Bay Area in Davis, CA, Davis Senior High School boasts the distinction of having established the nation's first Baroque orchestra in a public high school.
