Open Book Theatre Company in Trenton gears up for another season of plays worth talking about

Open Book Theatre Company is pleased to announce its fifth season.  The award winning professional theatre will present 5 plays, including a Michigan Premiere.  Two of the plays won Tony Awards for Best Play, and one of those also earned the Pulitzer.

John Patrick Shanley is the author of more than 23 plays, appearing on broadway, of broad way and all over the country. His early works are acting school staples, with many a young actor cutting their teeth on meaty  scenes from Danny and the Deep Blue Sea and Dreamer Examines his Pillow, yet these plays do not often get produced in their entirety.

REBEL AND MISFITS PRODUCTIONS is thrilled to announce their upcoming production of " The Realistic Joneses " by award - winning Will Eno, presented by special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc.

Manhattan Theatre Club's new Broadway production of Saint Joan written by Nobel Prize in Literature and Academy Award winner Bernard Shaw and directed by Tony Award winner Daniel Sullivan is now in its final two weeks of performances. LAByrinth Theater Company (Artistic Director John Ortiz) recently announced that they will present the World Premiere of Devil of Choice by LAB Member Maggie Bofill (Winners, Drawn and Quartered). Manhattan Theatre Club will present its annual Spring Gala on Monday, May 14 at Cipriani 42nd Street (110 East 42nd Street), hosted by four-time Tony Award nominee Condola Rashad, who is currently starring in Saint Joan.
