The T. Schreiber Studio for Theatre & Film, one of the country's foremost professional actor training and performance programs, just celebrated its 46th Anniversary Gala yesterday, April 26, 2015. The event honored Academy Award-nominee and T. Schreiber alumnus, Edward Norton, recently seen in the Oscar-winning films 'Birdman' and 'The Grand Budapest Hotel.' 

Fresh off its sold-out run of Itamar Moses' Completeness, the award-winning Vs. Theatre Company ('Best of the Decade' - LA Weekly) continues its tenth anniversary season with the World Premiere of GUS'S FASHIONS & SHOES, written and directed by Ron Klier. Rounding out the season will be the West Coast Premiere of Tracy Letts' adaptation of Anton Chekov's masterpiece, THREE SISTERS. Opening in Winter, 2016.

Animus Theatre Company is pleased to announce Collected Shorts by Tennessee Williams (The Long Goodbye, Moony's Kid Don't Cry, The Pink Bedroom, and Talk to Me Like the Rain and Let Me Listen) as their 2014-2015 Workshop Production and final production of the season. Marking the New York theatre directorial debut for acclaimed actor Matthew Lillard, the show will feature Eric William Morris. Performances begin tonight, April 24 and run through Saturday, May 2, at Theatre Row (410 West 42nd Street).

Tangent Theatre Company, based in the intimate Carpenter Shop Theater in Tivoli's village center, announces a fifth week of performances for their Spring 2015 production: the contemporary moral drama Lobby Hero by Kenneth Lonergan. The play will now run through Sunday, May 3. Set in a Manhattan apartment building lobby, the story examines the shades of grey between right and wrong, and centers on the main character, Jeff, the building's security guard, and three other diverse characters, including Jeff's supervisor William and two New York City police officers (Bill and Dawn). Remaining performances of Lobby Hero are Thursdays - Saturdays 8pm; Sundays 3pm.

Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati's closes its 29th season with an adventure across the pond in the regional premiere of Outside Mullingar by John Patrick Shanely, one the most celebrated contemporary playwrights. Winner of the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award® for his play Doubt and an Academy Award for his film Moonstruck, he is also the screenwriter and director of the cult classic Joe Versus the Volcano. Celebrating its 10th Anniversary, the Provincetown Tennessee Williams Theater Festival, announced that multi-award winning stage and screen actor Cherry Jones will be the guest of honor of the Gala this year. In 2014, Jones was nominated for a Tony Award and won the Outer Critic's Circle award for her performance as Amanda Wingfield in the critically acclaimed Broadway production of Tennessee Williams' The Glass Menagerie. .

Pioneer Theatre Company, Utah's premier professional theatre, has announced its 2015-2016 season. The season is bookended by two blockbuster musicals, Fiddler on the Roof and the professional U.S. premiere of the new Frank Wildhorn musical The Count of Monte Cristo. The season also includes two more musicals and three plays, two of which are world premieres and one of which is a Utah premiere.

Artistic Director Michael Halberstam and Executive Director Kathryn M. Lipuma announce the Writers Theatre production of Doubt: A Parable by John Patrick Shanley, directed by William Brown. Nylon Fusion Theatre Company presents an unflinching look at the Hollywood machine and the secrets and lies that feed it, in Joseph Samuel Wright's Unmentionables.
