The T. Schreiber Studio for Theatre & Film, one of the country's foremost professional actor training and performance programs, just celebrated its 46th Anniversary Gala yesterday, April 26, 2015. The event honored Academy Award-nominee and T. Schreiber alumnus, Edward Norton, recently seen in the Oscar-winning films "Birdman" and "The Grand Budapest Hotel."
The evening benefits T. Schreiber's professional training program and mission to bring actors and audiences together to experience the gift of live theatre at affordable prices. It will feature entertainment, a three-course dinner, cocktails, a silent auction and more.
Past honorees at the T. Schreiber Studio and Theatre's gala include Judith Light, Cynthia Nixon, Wendy Wasserstein,Marian Seldes, Gerald Schoenfeld, Betty Buckley, Amy Ryan, John Patrick Shanley, Anne Jackson, Eli Wallach, andRoger Berlind, among others.
T. Schreiber Studio for Theatre and Film, established in 1969, provides a comprehensive training program for actors, many of who have gone on to successful careers in theatre, film, and television. One of the few surviving members of New York City's original Off-Off Broadway movement, T. Schreiber Theatre remains dedicated to making the unique experience of live theatre available to everyone at an affordable price.
