National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene (Artistic Director Zalmen Mlotek and Executive Director Dominick Balletta), in association with Tony Award-winning Producer Ken Davenport, today announced that New York debut of the new musical Harmony by the legendary Barry Manilow and his longtime collaborator Bruce Sussman will be postponed until 2021 at the Museum of Jewish Heritage a?" A Living Memorial to the Holocaust, Edmond J. Safra Plaza, 36 Battery Place, NYC. The show was previously scheduled to start performances on February 11, 2020.
Phoebe Eclair-Powell Wins The 2019 Bruntwood Prize For Playwriting

Today, Monday 4th November 2019, Phoebe Eclair-Powell's play, SHED: EXPLODED VIEW, has been named the overall winner of the Bruntwood Prize for Playwriting during a ceremony at the Royal Exchange Theatre in Manchester. As well as receiving £16,000, Eclair-Powell will work with the Royal Exchange Theatre's creative team to develop the script.

Two River Theater (Artistic Director John Dias, Managing Director Michael Hurst) presents The Ballad of Little Jo, a musical by Mike Reid(composer, co-bookwriter), Sarah Schlesinger (lyricist, co-bookwriter) and John Dias (co-bookwriter). Dias, the theater's Artistic Director, is also making his Two River directorial debut with this production. The Ballad of Little Jo is based on the film of the same name by Maggie Greenwald. The choreography is by Marc Kimelman, with music direction and dance and incidental arrangements by John O'Neill.
